I'm not a huge fan of the Drop Shot or Wacky Rigs and don't keep either of those rigged up all the time. But when you know you need to switch to a smaller finesse bait this is a quick way to rig something up and get back to fishing in a hurry with out all the rigging hassle, just tie one on, slap on your favorite soft plastic for a trailer and your done. This is a favorite of mine for fishing small ponds or even large lakes that see a lot of fisherman every day. I try to use the lightest one I can throw to make sure it falls/sinks as slow as possible.
