If you're here specifically because you want the covert earbuds in covert black (as pictured and described on the page) just be aware I was sent bright orange coloured ones. Not covert black. False advertising.

I really like these Mack earplugs. I am a New Yorker and take the subway every day and the amount of peripheral noise is amazing and increasingly annoying. While the Mack earplugs won't block out the noise (not what I was looking for) it very reasonably dampens a lot of the noise and makes it a lot easier to read/relax and not be distracted. the Mack plugs won't block out someone streaming music out loud (good grief!) right next to me, but if it's a few feet away at a moderate level the sound will either be muffled or I won't hear it. I was on the bus recently (yes, I take a city bus to a subway train and if I want to get home I have to do that twice a day :O( and there were some kids in the back playing around as kids will and should do and it really didn't hit me for a bit that they were pretty much screaming and the sound was muffled enough that while very noticeable it was quite as piercing as I've sometimes found it. Of course, you need to put the earplugs in properly for them to work and that takes an inconvenient minute or so, but the result is worth it and I'm planning on buying a second batch of earplugs. In sum, if you are looking for an earplug that will dampen at worst and block noises out at best these are worth a try. They are comfortable and fashionably dark which are two things I was looking for. I hope never to be on a NYCC subway and hear a gunshot, but for all the dumb things that people do with their smart phones this product works well and has my hearty recommendation.

These were awesome! We used them at monster jam and they were perfect! Comfortable for 2 hours of wearing.

I use them for my 9mm piston. They work as well as 34db over ear protection at reducing noise. Very comfortable and stays in place once you get them in right.

Arrived on time. Reasonable product. Worked okay, but I had higher expectations. Price is absolutely ok.
