We are having problems with the raccoons raiding the bird feeders. We were willing to TRY the non-lethal option. This device is PERFECT and DID exactly what it is advertised to do. Scared the stripes off this Raccoon! Worked the 1st time! It charges itself, you can set it for NIGHT ONLY mode, it is extremely loud and is very easy to install. 10 minutes tops. We'll have to see about the battery life. It is on the weather side of the house so, we'll see how it stands up to the heat. EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT and would highly recommend it.

Very loud near the light but not disturbing a 75' or more away. I like the variety of sounds and it is rather amusing when we walk by to check out the function. Seems to be sensitive. We used this for our garden and had a game cam recording the scene. We used on the dark setting only and my how the intruders jumped. We had opossum, skunk, fox, coyote, porcupine, racoon and deer. All were unnerved by the lights and noise and cleared the area. The skunk the least so. Luckily he is not a garden pest that eats the veggies. I bought another kind of alarm but this was my favorite. I used some with the provided stake and mounted a couple on a post.

Had to return, won't work for me. However, I think it could work well in the right environment. The bright yellow color could help it be a visual deterrent. I set it off inside and it was obnoxiously loud and I think the chaotic sounds it makes would disorient a person or wild animal. So, if you live out in the country and want to run off pests and you don't have close by neighbors I think it would be great for that. I'm suspicious about it's quality for water resistance, but I think if it had a clear rain cover that would work. I didn't install it, but it looked really easy to install and had more than one way to do that right out of the box. I wish it had a volume control or way to set the sounds to something specific. Where I intended to use it the dog bark would have been acceptable, but the blended chaos just wouldn't fly in that mid to high density housing environment.

I got this to scare stray cats away. It is so loud! There is no volume button on it. I put it out for the first time and when it went off my neighbor’s dogs were barking and going crazy. I will keep it but only use it for Halloween to scare the trick or treaters. I am buying another brand with a volume button on it. This brand is nice if you live out in the country or if you have no neighbors near by or if you just don’t care what your neighbors think. I get along very well with my neighbors and I want to keep it that way. Again, this brand works very good and is worth the money I paid for it, but there is no volume button to turn it down.

A good value. I’m hoping that they work. It would be better if it didn’t shuffle through the sounds and allowed you to lock into one but otherwise it’s loud and should help keep the geese away

I use this to attempt to keep predators away from my chickens and ducks. Can I say it's working. Not forsure. I have not had any predators around. Knock on wood. It is forsure loud. So maybe it's working. Also the solar charge seems to hold well!

Stopped working in the middle of a huge storm after 2 mos. It just kept going off so had to go out in the rain at 3a and turn it off. Now, when I turn it back on, it just keeps going off, even though the daytime. It did work on the cat as it definitely scare them, but it’s very loud and obnoxious to neighbors also

Got this to keep a groundhog away. It does work on it, not so much the squirrels or rabbits. The motion detection has been sensitive especially this fall with the wind and leaves. Volume control would be nice, but it is far enough in the yard that you can hear, but you don't actually think there is a dog or gun shots in the yard. Not sure how effective the lights are, but they are bright when they go off. I have it mounted in the ground. Waiting til spring to see if I need a second to cover the other side of the yard.

Big fan. Very loud/startling. Sensitive motion detection, in a good way. Straight forward unit. Bought them to keep any predators away from the immediate areas of my chickens/guinea fowl/goats/cats. The only way I could make it better would be the solar panel not on the top of it so that you could angle the panel vertically to get the sun come winter or to not have the snow sit on the solar panel. Have not gone through a winter with it yet but so far it has gotten through -10C temps and not conked out. They don't have to go off super often that I have noticed during the night. The latest I have tested that it still goes off is 5h of darkness but that's with it not going off (as nothing is going by it during that time) so I can't really speak to how long the charge lasts. I don't have it in a high traffic area during the night.

This thing is awesome. I bought it to deter a local bear from my bee yard. I can’t tell if it would actually repel a bear as he hasn’t visited my yard yet but I forgot about it, as I am not often in the bee yard at night and it does not detect motion during the day, and last night when I went into the yard it scared the heck out of me! Loud and flashing red and blue lights. Video is night cam so colors not seen.
