Purchased this to replace an older model I've had for 20 years after the switch failed which was not serviceable. A good diagnostic tool.

Should have bought one of these long ago! Great product, makes diagnosing electrical issues so much easier.

I haven't used it yet, but I already know how great these are. It works. Arrived in perfect shape. And I got a case for it for $12 from JB Tool Sales. Most pros already know about and have one except for some guys who, and I appreciate their passion and artistry, use incandescent test lights to charge solenoids and what not. This also makes sense for a DIYer maintaining their vehicle, because you can get pretty far with just this tool. It has a volt meter built in, a test light, and you can even power components during diagnosis. Just be careful, take your time, watch some YouTube videos, and you'll get good at it quickly. In part because this guy will make things much easier. Nice long dual clamp ended cord. You can leave the clamps on the battery. You don't have to go around looking for ground. It has a built in circuit breaker to protect it from overloading. It has distinctive sounds and lights to reveal issues. It has a separate alligator clip if you want to use it like a straight test light. Just very versatile. At $60, it really is a deal. Many people have paid much more for it, and have no regrets!

This has immediately become essential in my tool box while restoring my vintage motorhome. It takes a lot of guessing and uncertainty out of the equation while troubleshooting and issues can be found so much faster. Couldn’t do it without it. Dealing with my suddenly-not-working headlights, questionable generator starter, uncertain fuel pump, fuses, and so much more. Absolutely essential in any DIYer’s kit. Excellent value. Would 100% buy again.

These are an awesome tool that's why I almost any good mechanic has one The only issue with this specific product and it's not a big one It did not come with a hard case instead and a molded plastic throw awayable case but compared to the $250 snap-on trucks try to sell you these things you can buy a case for five more bucks on Amazon and save a lot of money even harbor freight has them at $150 at the time I purchased this for 99 and it works perfectly
