Great for Texture, Dark Spots, and Overall Glow
I bought this Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% from The Ordinary about seven months ago, and honestly, it has become an essential step in my skincare routine. I originally purchased it to help with skin texture and a few dark spots, and with consistent use, I noticed my skin looking smoother, brighter, and more even. The texture is lightweight, absorbs quickly, and it has never irritated my skin. I also love that it layers well with the other products I use. It has helped reduce the look of pores and small imperfections, and overall my skin feels much softer and more balanced. If you’re looking for an effective and affordable product that makes a real difference over time, this is a great choice. I would definitely repurchase it. 🧴✨

A True Skin-Perfecting Hero for Texture, Redness, and Blemishes
I’ve tried countless serums, acids, and treatments over the years, but The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% has become one of those rare products that actually delivers visible, lasting results — and fast. This product has earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine for its ability to even out skin tone, calm redness, and smooth texture all at once. Let’s start with what it does: azelaic acid is a multitasking powerhouse known for reducing redness, fading dark spots, and keeping acne under control. Within just a couple of weeks of consistent use, I noticed my complexion looking brighter, smoother, and more balanced. It helped clear up the little bumps and clogged pores around my chin and forehead, and it visibly reduced post-acne marks that had been lingering for months. The texture of the product itself is a light, silky cream-gel — it glides on easily and absorbs quickly without leaving a sticky or heavy feeling. I use a pea-sized amount after cleansing and toning, and it layers beautifully under moisturizer and sunscreen. I especially love that it’s fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free, making it a clean, minimalist option for anyone with sensitive or reactive skin. What surprised me most was how soothing it is. Unlike stronger exfoliating acids that can sting or cause dryness, this formula feels gentle but effective. I have combination skin that’s prone to redness and occasional breakouts, and this has actually reduced irritation over time. It helps keep my skin balanced — not oily, not dry — and it gives a nice blurred, matte finish that looks great under makeup. Over the past few months, this product has helped fade old acne scars, minimize redness around my nose, and give my skin that natural “glass-skin” smoothness I’ve been chasing for years. It’s honestly a hidden gem for anyone struggling with uneven tone, texture, or mild rosacea. The price point is another huge win — it performs like a high-end dermatologist-grade treatment for a fraction of the cost. A little goes a long way, too, so one tube lasts for months.

Finally! Something that calms my redness and evens out texture
I've struggled with persistent hormonal breakouts and the annoying red marks (post-inflammatory erythema) they leave behind for ages. My skin is combination, sensitive, and my main goals were to reduce redness, fade old blemish marks, and smooth out my skin texture. I've been using this Azelaic Acid suspension for about 6 weeks now, incorporating it into my nighttime routine. First Impressions & Texture: The texture is definitely unique. It's a thick, silicone-based cream that feels almost like a makeup primer. It's not greasy at all and dries down to a very smooth, matte finish. A little goes a long way. I didn't experience any stinging or irritation, which is a huge plus for my sensitive skin. Results: This isn't an overnight miracle, but with consistent use, the results are undeniable. The most significant change for me is the reduction in overall redness. My skin tone looks so much calmer and more even. The red marks from old breakouts have noticeably faded, and my skin's texture feels smoother. It also seems to help gently manage new blemishes without being harsh or overly drying like benzoyl peroxide or some retinoids can be. The "Con" (Why 4 stars, not 5): The only downside for me is the silicone texture. Because it's so matte, it can "pill" (ball up) if you try to layer other products on top of it, especially serums or makeup. I found it works best as the very last step in my PM routine, after my moisturizer has fully absorbed. I personally wouldn't use it in the morning under foundation because of the pilling issue. Overall: For the price, this product is a fantastic value and has become a staple in my routine. If you struggle with redness, uneven skin tone, or post-blemish marks, I would 100% recommend giving this a try. Just be mindful of how you layer it with your other products!

Gentle but effective powerhouse
I’ve been using this for a few weeks and it’s one of the gentlest treatments I’ve tried for redness and breakouts. It didn’t irritate my skin at all — especially compared to salicylic acid. Azelaic acid helps with acne, redness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It’s also anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, which makes it perfect for sensitive, blemish-prone skin. Ingredients Breakdown (Key Highlights): • Azelaic Acid (10%) – Main active; targets blemishes, dullness, and uneven tone • Dimethicone – A skin-smoothing silicone that gives a silky finish and reduces irritation • Tocopherol (Vitamin E) – Antioxidant protection to help support skin barrier function • Polysilicone-11 & Isodecyl Neopentanoate – Help with texture and spreadability ✔️ Pros: • No irritation or stinging • Helps with redness and texture • Layers well under moisturizer • Fragrance-free & affordable ⚠️ Cons: • Thick, silicone-like texture (not everyone will love it) • May pill if not applied to clean, dry skin Overall, this is a great choice if you want results without harsh side effects. Just remember to only use it 2-3x week max if your skin gets irritated easily, and do a patch test first! Also, it is thick as seen in the photo, so a little goes a long way.

Great results in just a few days!
This azelaic acid works amazingly well. It absorbs fast, feels light on the skin, and doesn’t cause irritation. After a few uses, my skin looks smoother, brighter, and less red. It also helps with small breakouts. I’m very happy with this product and totally recommend it!

Misleading Packaging Size
I received the product sealed and labeled as 30 ml. However, when I tried to use it, the tube was mostly filled with air. I had to squeeze for a long time before any product came out, which made it feel almost empty. I don’t have a way to measure the exact amount, but the packaging is very misleading and does not match what I would reasonably expect from a 30 ml product.
