Superb, superb just right, picture and sound quality I can not fault at all, gives a real crystal clear picture, and sound, and features in every operation again I can not fault, so easy to navigate and connect to wifi, adjust and setting so smooth and easy to do, I didn't read the said instructions at all, I thrive on new gadgets and simply followed the instructions on my iphone with ease, clear instructions and every stage to get connect to Wifi and your phone, and onced do so stays connection and strong, connectivity is good (as long as your Wifi is), charging takes a fews hours and to date I charge this camera every 3-4 months, depending on use, excellent long use of the battery power, all in functions can not fault, the alerts received instantly (you can switch this off) I have an SC card and leave it on continuous record (on a loop) when the card gets full it just starts again and overwrites, also easy to backup to PC wipe clear and start again. Installed above my front door and it views the whole of the area of the close, perfect sound and picture. This camera is also 100% weather resistant, Wind, Hale, Snow, Rain and Ice the camera still functioning no problem, it small and compact and light, charge lasts really well, the sensor function lights is not that bright, but bright enough to see the path way, the slightest movement within said camera range, truly picks up, and records (I have it set for 20 seconds), you get your alerts and can take a picture to store, in my mind this is superb security camera and would recommend. We purchased this Tapo camera to compliment our existing Tapo security and home automation devices; I wanted to minimise the amount of apps I’m using for all the various tech in our house and handily all of our Tapo smart plugs and cameras use one very intuitive and simple app. Installation and setup is very good. Quality wall fixings are provided, the plugs arent Fischer quality but are fine for use in mortar or brick and the screws are stainless and shouldn’t rust, no sticky fitting is provided should you not wish to screw the wall to a surface. The camera connected first time to our mesh home network and its signal hasn’t ever stopped despite being positioned past two thick brick walls. The picture quality is very good, however at a distance of over 5 metres away it would be very difficult to make out clear facial detail, when the camera does recognise a human a handy green light on the face of the camera illuminates, the motion detection is also excellent; ours picks up motion up to 8 metres away, please note that the sensitivity is proximity based so I’d recommend setting up zones and notifications based on your preferences so your device isn’t constantly pinging notifications (which drains the battery life faster). We’ve had ours up for around a week with 5-10 notifications a day and the battery is on 89%. I’ve opted to fit a micro SD card rather than purchase Tapo care as the camera isn’t in a location where it’s in danger of theft. If local storage isn’t an option for you bear in mind that Tapo’s cloud storage plan is £24.99 a year per camera. Overall we are very happy with this Tapo product and would purchase another.

Very easy to set up using the Tapo app — connected quickly and worked straight away. Picture quality is clear, even at night, and the spotlight feature is handy. Only downside is the alarm volume; it’s a bit quiet. Otherwise, a great little camera for the price.

Great camera but doesn’t continuously record like the wired versions. I have numerous tapos but all others are plug in and work great. I purchased a battery one for our landing side window as there’s no plug socket and this is great but only records when you’re actually using the app, as soon as you come off the app it stops. Other than that great little camera, great coverage and easy to set up.

I really wanted this camera to work. The spec and the reviews looked good, and I was impressed with the compact design and integrated solar panel. Unfortunately I couldn't get past formatting problems with the SD Card. I bought the card to meet the spec required by Tapo but it kept giving an error when initializing. I discovered Tapo community support threads in which many other users suffered the same errors, some buying several SD cards to try to make it work. Tapo had a standard set of answers to these errors which didn't help them or me. I do have an older, less sophisticated Tapo camera that hasn't suffered this problem. I wanted to stick to a single brand but decided I wasn't going to waste time and money trying to overcome this, so I returned the camera for a full refund. I now have a perfectly decent high-spec SD card ready for use elsewhere - and will never buy another Tapo camera.

Really a nice product to use in house security, safety purposes Quick motion notifications and tiny size with really good quality video is unbelievable. Last and main thing, App works without any advertising interruptions. Make it well using things. Tried many from temu but not comparable with this. Must try.

Estas cámaras TAPO son increíblemente baratas y funcionan perfectamente. Son fáciles de conectar con un NVR y funcionan muy bien. No sé si al igual que con los altavoces Alexa, se quedan con tus datos para luego monetizarlos de alguna forma. Si no, no se explica que sean tan baratas y funcionen tan bien. Pero a mí no me importa. Al principio me compré varias de el modelo C200, pero si no tienes que andar moviendo la orientación de la cámara, estas C100 son mucho mejores, porque son más baratas y con mejor calidad de imagen. Se puede configurar la imagen para que esté a 1080P, 720P o 360P. Yo las uso a 360P pues son para los cuartos de mis niños, o de mi madre que ya está mayor. Todas la cámaras TAPO con muy fáciles de configurar. La visión nocturna funciona bien, tanto en la C100 como en la C200. El altavoz que incluyen es una caca, suena muy bajito y como la voz de Darth Vader, pero cumple su función para que por ejemplo los niños te oigan decirles que les dices que se callen y se duerman. La APP de TAPO para ver las cámaras no es perfecta, pues si el teléfono donde la instalas no es muy bueno, o si la señal wifi no es muy potente, la transmisión se congela y le tienes que dar a reiniciar la señal cuando menos te lo esperas, lo cual es un desastre la verdad. Pero con buena señal wifi y un buen teléfono funciona bien. Otra cosa, si la cámara y el teléfono no están en la misma red wifi, sólo puedes ver unos 5 minutos seguidos, y le tienes que dar manualmente a "Continuar" cada vez que pasa. Esto se soluciona comprándote un plan mensual por cada cámara, de 3,5€/mes, con lo que 1 año te sale más caro que el precio de compra de la cámara. Y por último, se pueden usar para conectarlas a un NVR, lo cual no es complicado. En ese caso, funcionan igual de bien que cualquier cámara ONVIF, pero a un precio insuperable. Además, funcionan todo el tiempo sin problemas, sin cortes, etc., y sin tener que comprarte un plan mensual por cada cámara. Funcionan perfectamente. En una casa tengo un NVR con 2 cámaras ONVIF cableadas y 2 TAPO C200 por wifi, y lo que tengo en mi NVR son 4 cámaras funcionando perfectamente.
