Thesaurus of the Senses

I really like this book. Its organized well and is the perfect size to fit in your bag. It is jam packed with words and references so you have plenty to choose from. It starts off with a little writing exercise which gets the brain going. Each Sense starts with a page of information to get you thinking about that sense which I thought was pretty neat. Overall I find this book very useful in helping me choose the best fitted word for whatever I'm writing. I hate repetitive words so this book helps solve that problem. Easy to use.

I’m very pleased with this purchase! The word list is organized and easy to use. Learning new words and getting reunited with ones I’d somehow forgotten about. Will be an awesome tool when I edit and go through the many drafts of my current and future books!

It’s a fantastic resource to add variety and depth to your writing, especially if you’re trying to emotionally connect to your audience for the purposes of teaching or marketing.I love how it’s laid out and the table of contents and the indexes make it truly a joy to use. While it’s not devoid of value, I don’t see myself turning to this reference very often. Most of what it offers can be found much easier in your favourite thesaurus. When I will use it, it’s the touch and smell senses I'll focus on because those are the senses I aim to include more of in my writing.★★★☆☆

Sometimes you just need that one specialized reference book to help you spice up your writing or get over a silly block. Definitely a book to keep around for writing fiction.

This is a handy little book but it has one glaring problem. The table of contents is greyed out in the kindle version. But the book does have one which links to the different sections. This means that you have to manually scroll back to it find it every time you want to go to another section. This really needs to be fixed. This book would be a whole lot more useful with it.

Having already owned several thesauruses, I wasn't sure this book was going to be particularly useful. My mistake! Anyone doing any writing will quickly find this specialty item indispensable. The groupings are simple and easy to use, and the word lists are very useful.

I love to reference this book while I'm writing my novel. It really helps me. You need to add this to your library if you're a writer.
