Manta Kinks, Coils & Curls

I’m not paid to write this, but seriously if you have curly hair, you’ll wanna consider this. I’m neurodivergent, biracial, and have 3c curly hair. This was the most amazing brush I’ve ever used hands down. I need like 5 of these now so if I ever lose one I have back ups. The brush detangled my hair super fast and painlessly. It managed to brush my scalp well too through the thickness of my hair. For context, I normally detangle my hair in the shower. I’d cut my fingers accidentally trying to get tangles out, and it took forever to do. The effort showering takes makes me hate showers, but genuinely this brush worked so well it’s completely changed my relationship with showering. Please keep in mind, the company has another brush that looks a lot like this one but for straight hair. I saw another comment say that they’re different, so be careful that you choose the right brush for your hair pattern. My dad has really short 4c hair though and didn’t like it, so it may either come to preference or perhaps hair length. I also don’t recommend using it on dry hair. While it does still work well with detangling, it’ll frizz up your hair and that’ll make it tangle worse. I never thought i could have long hair, but this brush genuinely is going to free me to grow my hair out.

The best detangler I have ever purchased and I have bought many. Minimal effort to brush through your hair and not as much breakage. I have thick, course, curly, and dense hair so this was perfect..Well Done to the makers of this product.

The concept is great but the brush is a bit to large for me to use as designed. With the size it tends not to slip around in my hand a lot when I tried to fold it. As a detangling brush it worked well, I’m not completely convinced yet on the anti breakage claim since I’ve only used it once. I don’t think this will be my new go to brush especially at this price point.

The best deranging brush out here! I have 4B hair and the combs through with very little tension and I’m experiencing very little shedding, like 2/3rds less! It gives a nice clump of curls. It’s a little expensive, but worth every penny!

I love this, it is the only brush that works on my daughters hair. She is 20 months and is mixed . She never cries when I use this brush. No tears , no tangles… no broken hair !!

If you have very thick hair and the regular manta brush doesn't reach your scalp, then this is the brush for you. The bristles are longer and thicker but it's still gentle. It feels amazing on the scalp and doesn't tear your hair out. I have been searching for the perfect brush and finally found it. It's better than other tangle brushes I have tried. Either the brush works but it doesn't reach my scalp or it reaches my scalp but it's too hard and hurts or the brush will not go through my tangles and tears out my hair. I had none of these issues, its definitely not like other brushes. I wish they would have different colors tho, I don't really like this colorway but if it comes out in violet, magenta or cobalt, I will get more.

This is far more superior to al of the other detangling brushes I have purchased. It works beautifully on 4C hair texture. This is an awesome brand, I they have several options for varying hair types.

Where has this brush been all my life??? I just love the way my scalp feels when I use it. Just happened up on it on the Amazon site. You will not regret buying this one!

Absolutely brilliant for both wet and dry hair. My hair is long, thick and wavy and it has made untangling it MUCH easier!

It takes a second to get used to because it’s so flexible but once you get the hang of it? The flexibility is your best friend! Really good at detangling and doesn’t hurt! Ive used it both on wet and dry hair and it’s great. If you really thick hair like mine when you need to part it to brush properly - there’s hardly any need to run it through with a long tooth comb afterwards (but worth doing to ensure full detangling) It is pricey but I am glad for what I paid - i have only had it for about a week but it looks well-made and would last a very long time

Great if you have very curly short hair

I have very thick long hair that tends to knot and curl. This is the best brush I have ever used. It is pain free and de-knots perfectly

Bought this brush for my curly haired partner, and they really like it. A lot of the time, after dry brushing, their hair can become a bit frizzy but it was better with this and the curls stayed more defined As a Manta user myself, it was great to see that this brush had the same flexibility and travel bag too
