A blast from the past...
Although LPs are making a comeback, and I do have the original LP from way back when, I'm glad I decided to purchase a CD version of this album. The CD has a couple of extra tracks that the original LP does not have, including a 'minus-one' instrumental track of Out Here On My Own for you to belt out, singing the song with the full accompaniment - ala karaoke. I seem to be going through a nostalgic phase in my life right now, so it was wonderful reminiscing about the movie and that period of my life. Totally enjoyed listening to the songs again.

Es el espectacular álbum de la Banda Sonora Original de la película de Fame llevada a la gran pantalla. Un disco grabado con gran sentimiento y sensibilidad musical. Incluye el fantástico tema Fame, que popularizara Irene Cara, que al mismo tiempo es protagonista de dicha película. Si he de ser sincero, me gusta más la música que grabaron para la televisión The Kids From Fame que este disco de la película cinematográfica, aunque esto debe considerarse como una opinión muy personal, nada objetiva. Yo destacaría de este gran disco, los temas Fame, que se repite al finalizar el disco, y que da origen y final a los episodios de televisión, el tema de amor Out There On My Own, que se repite al final en una extraordinaria interpretación al piano, el tema I Sing The Body Electric, acompañado de magníficos coros, etc. Un álbum que no podéis perderos, y que les encantará a todos los de la familia.
