Rite in the Rain All-Weather EDC Pen, Flat Dark Earth, Black, OD Green Pokka 3-Pack, Black 0.8mm Ink, Fine Point (No. TAC92)

I've been using these for about a year now. I needed something that could write upside down or at an angle like on a wall calendar, would fit in a pocket without poking a hole, and wouldn't leak. I found that Fisher space pens would sometimes leave ink spots on my clothes, clog, and the pocket clips would catch on stuff in my pockets. These pens have solved all those problems.. They aren't glamorous or flashy, just completely functional and they do the job. I will order more. The only problems are: not refillable, very light and can lose them if you carry a lot of stuff in your pocket (they can come out with other stuff and you wouldn't notice) and sometimes they write rather light for my taste, since they are fine points. Otherwise, they have been wonderful. No more showing up to mail stuff at the Post Office and discovering I forgot a pen! FYI- I lost the first one after several months. The second one disappeared yesterday, probably fell out of a shallow pocket when I pulled a bunch of stuff out. I thought it might be under the seat in my car, so I checked. Instead, I found the first one that I lost months earlier! It's writing great. It survived a full summer over 100 degrees in the car and then a winter with temps in the single digits Fahrenheit!

I got these for my son to take to boot camp and they're perfect. I have a bright orange one I've had for years and I love it. It writes well. He can just tuck it in his notebook or pocket with no issue. I've had mine in my purse for years and it has never leaked. Super easy to have on hand and writes in any environment.

Amazing

These are great! They work on just about all surfaces I've tried, and in wet conditions, as advertised. They are super easy to carry (but also easy to lose, so I ended up ordering the blaze orange ones too), fitting easily into my pocket, bag, or in the little pen loop of my Leatherman case depending on my EDC load out ;)

Relative to a Fisher Space Pen these are well, just cheap price-wise, but the performance is great. After misplacing my Fisher after nearly 15 years of carrying the thing in my pocket I bought a pack of these things just to use until all hope of finding the Fisher was vanquished. Well, I found the Fisher after a couple of weeks, but the "Rite in the Rain" performed so well that I put the Fisher in the safe and continued to carry the RinR.

Nice to keep around. It can write in any condition and is light weight and water tight, perfect to throw in a bag just in case you need it. One star off because seven dollars is a lot for a pen you can’t put a refill in.

Great pen that won’t(or hasn’t yet) ruin uniforms in the washer machine! Small enough to keep in pocket because hands don’t go there. Get the orange color because the green and black ones get lost easily. Maintains the motto “something to write on and with at all times “ while being less offensive than a sharpie.

This is my favorite pen. I was hooked on the metal 301 Zebras for about twenty years, but these write even better and they’re easy to keep in any pocket without a stab wound resulting. Also they’re great for fidgeting. The cap clicks a bit when removed… and clicks a bit when replaced. So that’s a repetition that is entertaining.

Compact and protected, reliable writing instrument. Can carry it in your pocket or bag without the risk of it colouring your clothes!

son muy buenas y compactas. las compré para escribir en el sauna sin que se corriera la tinta o explotara la pluma, y han sido excelentes estos bolígrafos

They're great pens

En cuanto al envío, me llegaron en una bolsita tipo ziploc genérica, sin marca ni nada, abierta, venía una pluma afuera, y una de las de adentro con señas de uso.... los envíos no son como antes, ha bajado bastante la calidad en el servicio. Sobre las plumas: MUY MUY caras para lo que son, incluso con el descuento. Yo compraría estas plumas SOLO para un escenario en el que se NECESITE que aguanten agua y lodo... de ahi en mas, nunca las volvería a comprar. Aunque sean de un plástico "resistente" no es acorde al precio. Además: no son rellenables. Tengo la Field wallet y la Horizon wallet de Rite in the Rain y en la primera queda demasiado justa porque es mas ancha que el elástico que la soporta lo que hace que no cierre bien la cartera. En la Horizon tampoco se podrían usar pues no tienen clip. Mal producto.
