This little gadget is saving me a ton of money on ammunition. I can even use it in my house with my electronic targets.

The overall quality of this items is extremely poor. The instructions for installing the batteries were incorrect and once the batteries were installed, the light would only work if you held it in a certain position. Also, once I got it working, it became obvious the laser light was not centered. Is not dependable in function or accuracy.

Mine would not turn off unless I placed a separator between the batteries or unscrewed the cap.

A lot of people complained that you can't close the action all the way in their reviews, but the directions specifically state that, as well as that doing so could damage it due to the extractor grabbing it.it's not perfect, but it's only $10, and I've even heard the $30 ones will only get you close.I didn't try putting it in a magazine and cycling it, I put it in the chamber thru the ejection port and gently rode the slide as far home as it would go. At a point blank range, the laser dot shows up right where my sights aim. As I point it toward objects farther away, though, the dot moves up, pretty significantly, but it never moves side to side. This might sound disappointing, and perhaps if I had a gun that had height/adjustable sights, it would be, but I do not. Only the rear sight is adjustable, and only side to side, so this works perfectly for me.I can't really comment on battery life. I did see some complaints about it, but mine lasted as long as they needed to(which admittedly was only long enough to screw it together, put it in, check that it's accurate, and then remove it and put it away, so only a few minutes) without turning off before I removed the batteries.I wasn't expecting much out of a $30 bore sight, so I definitely wasn't expecting much out of this one either, but I was pleasantly surprised. It does what I need it to, but it might not for everyone. That said, you shouldn't really rely on something like this anyway. This is just meant to get you on paper, not for fine tuning and precision.This was used in a Star BM pistol(a slightly scaled down 1911 copy in 9mm).

Does both seat in the chamber the same way. Sight picture changes.

Once in the chamber the laser was always hanging off my sights by a huge margin. The laser is obviously crooked. Really sucks! I used it in my ruger security 9. Maybe you eill have better luck than me.

The problem I have with this product is that it does not state how to eject the device once inside the gun barrel. You basically cannot eject it as a non-spent or spent shell casing. In other words....your gun is jammed shut and the only way to get it out is to take the top slide off of your gun like your going to clean it and remove the Laser sight manually. Meanwhile.... the first set of batteries have gone dead! Thus why they probably give you 2 sets of them. Definitely A DO NOT BUY ITEM!!!!!!
