No I don’t believe so. I have one in my garage and one in my basement. I imagine if it is under a cover suck as a roof awning yes, put not in the elements. I hope that helped!

Would this work for stinkbugs?

Sorry, I can't answer that. All I can say that it works great for houseflies. I have noticed a few other bugs on it, so it's not unique for flies, but I can't say if it would attract them as it seems to for flies.

Are these pheromone traps or just sticky? Im looking to kill scuttle flies.

I think they are just VERY sticky. I had a wasp problem in the bushes along my front entrance way and these sticks trapped lots and lots of them. They are also good for flies indoors.
