I purchased this potassium alum powder primarily for use in pickling, as it's known to help keep pickles crisp and fresh. So far, it has worked wonderfully. My pickles have stayed firm and crunchy, just the way I like them. The powder is very easy to use, and a little goes a long way. In addition to its great results for pickling, I’ve also heard of its benefits for skincare. While I haven't used it for that yet, the soothing properties for minor cuts and skin tightening are well-known, and I’m eager to try it. It’s also great for treating canker sores, which is another benefit I plan to explore. Overall, the Herbs Botanica Potassium Alum Powder is very versatile. Read onl8ne that dipping rhododendrons in this was great to keep them along longer. Tired of them fading shortly after cutting. Totally works.
