Good line for good price.
I have used this in past. Works great for bass & blue gill in ponds. Also have fished big water wading for smallmouth bass. Works great for my type of fishing. Thanks.

Nice looking line, but where's the loop on the end?
I'm sure this line will work out fine, but why wasn't it provided with a loop on the end? I'd swear other Rio lines do have loops on them. I mean, how much does it add to the cost of manufacturing? A couple pennies, maybe?

Great all-around fly line
I have been fly fishing for a long time and have tried a lot of lines. I needed a line for largemouth bass fishing here in SoFL. I needed a line that not only would cast well (which this line does), but one that would not go limp in the hot weather (high 80's to mid-90s) during the summer, and would stiffen up during the "colder" months. Also, it had to hold up to being dragged around and fished, on average, about 2 hours per day, 6-7 days a week. This line does it all for $40.

Should have known better.
This is a very inexpensive and low end fly line from Rio. There is a reason their high end fly lines exceed $100. I think if you are just learning how to fly fish, this will suffice otherwise spend the extra money and get a higher quality line.

Not what I expected
This product is not what I expected from a reputable company as is RIO. this fly line is really stiff, with no suppleness whatsoever. the coils from the packaging will not relax. as soon as you pull out the line to cast the line coils on itself and jams up in the rod's eye. I've tried stretching it in sections to try and relieve the coils, but to no avail. and to cast this line is like casting a plastic clothesline. hopefully, with some time and numerous casts, the line will relax and become a usable fly line.
