However I've given mine a real good workout grinding welds,plate steel,cast iron,sheetmetal etc for quite some time now using both pnuematic and electric high speed die grinders which typically max out around 20,000 to 25,000 rpm. I can honestly say I've been very well satisfied with my set.I also have the 1/8" shank set for my Dremel and they work great too.. Hope this helps! **Q: What country are these made in?** A: No labels on mine. But they ported cast iron heads plus cut all the spot welds on my mustang restoration and still killing it. Worth twice as much. **Q: Will this work for making a hole bigger on a bathroom sink for the faucet? If not, recommendations?** A: I suppose it could. But really depends on the material of the sink, and how much larger you need to make it. It’s also going to be a bit tough to keep it perfectly round. I have used these but a lot in heavy gauge steel. But not ceramic or anything. **Q: Could I use these for woodwork with any success?** A: These bits are designed for metal. They may do some work on wood, but you should get bits for wood to maximize you effort. Also, never use a metal bit on aluminum without using lots of lubrication. Otherwise you will wind up with a mess of clogged cutters. So far they do a decent job cleaning up hard to reach areas with my die grinder. The case doesn't hold the bits in all that well and pop out on occasion when the case is tossed around which is the reason for the minus a star. The bits feel well balanced and don't cause any vibrations in the die grinder. The assortment of different bits is a nice touch and has proven useful when trying to grind various metal things around the shop. The cylindrical bits are perfect for deburring newly cut metal. Overall, a nice set of carbide bits for a good price.
