We found this phosphate checker to be easy to use. As new salt water enthusiast it was important to get a tester that was reliable and accurate.

I use this frequently between my display and two quarantine tanks. I haven’t had another tester to compare its accuracy against but it seems to work. Pretty easy to use, just need to make sure to use a microfiber towel to wipe off the tube before placing it in, and that you get all the reagent in the small tube opening. Cutting a small corner of the packet helps.

This actually shows a number instead of 50 shades of light green like the other testers. Highly recommend

Assuming the results are accurate, it was easy and didn’t require trying to i.d. a color match. Comparable to my Salifert results but easier.

This checker seems to work well. It could be a bit more consistent, but you are measuring tiny fractions of parts per million, so some repeatability issues are to be expected. The little powder sachets are difficult to use because it's hard to get all of the reagent into the vial. You have to be very careful about not letting any of the powder touch your skin or you will get a very high false reading. You also need to make sure that the glass on the vial is spotless for both parts of the test. I use a microfiber cloth. Make sure that you don't shake the vial too hard when mixing the reagent. Tiny bubbles in the vial will give you a false reading. The difficulty of use is why I gave it 4 stars.

Hanna. When you want it done right, simple, and don't want to decode a color maze. Only comes with 10 reagents so get those too. Same HI774 number. Don't forget to press and hold for c2. Durable and accurate.
