AMAZING DIASTATIC MALT POWDER
Flourish Millworks Diastatic Malt Powder is amazing! My whole wheat bread rose incredibly high, tasted great, had a nice soft texture and no mold after almost a week! Also, I only used 1 tsp. for 3 1/2 cups of flour which is much less than dough enhancer takes for the same amount of flour. I really like the fact that it is produced entirely in the United States in North Carolina. GREAT PRODUCT and a GREAT PRICE. I love this Flourish malt powder!

Great diastatic malt for better breads
This diastatic malt is really nice, it came fresh and I used it immediately and it added a nice flavor and texture to my bread. I only used a tiny pinch in my brioche as it already has a soft crumb, but this really came out great and moist. Best brioche I've made yet and I'm going to make another soon. It rises beautifully, smelled amazing, and the crust came out with a nice crisp texture and sweetness. I definitely won't be needing more anytime soon but will purchase again when the time comes. Its a decent size for a home cook and should last a year.

GREAT for sourdough bagels
I use this for sourdough bagels and it works GREAT!!! It has a great taste and price! I love near Dallas and haven't found this in any stores.... Thankful we can get all the great stuff unavailable at stores from Amazon!!

A game changer!!
As a home baker in North Carolina, I’m always on the lookout for new ingredients to enhance my skills in the kitchen. I was thrilled to discover this local diastatic malt powder and decided to put it to the test! I love making babkas, a sweet raised yeast bread with a filling, and used my go-to recipe to create two versions: one without the powder and one with it, so I could compare the results side by side. The results were impressive. As you can see from the photos, the babka made with the diastatic malt powder had more even browning on the crust. The crumb was softer, and it rose a bit quicker compared to my original recipe. The shipment arrived quickly, and the powder itself had a nice aroma. The directions were easy to follow, and I’m excited to incorporate this product into my baking routine. Consistency is key in baking, and this may just become my secret ingredient!

Great baker helper.
I made a delicious bread. This product enhanced my baking ability. The bread lasted a long time. It was so easy to measure which added to the functionality of this product. It was a great value for the money as I will be able to make quite a bit of more bread.

Perfect for baking real Danish ryebread
I’m originally from Denmark so ryebread is a staple in my diet. Though it’s not easy to find that bread here so I have had to bake it myself. This makes such a huge difference when I bake my sourdough ryebread! The taste and smell is excellent, and the quality is great!
