Nail Tek Keratin Nail Treatment, 0.5 oz

Used 5-in-1 bamboo treatment: Had over filed surface of nail while not giving my nails enough of a break between diy gel manicures. Nails were uneven with horizontal damage (ridges, peaks and troughs) from improper filing, vertical ridges on some nails, felt thin and weak. Not a lot of peeling but didn’t look healthy nor strong and all 10 nails were growing but inconsistently, with 2-3 nails that kept breaking or tearing around the length of my fingertip even after giving them nearly a 6 month break from gel nails completely. Also combined the use of this polish with regular application of cuticle oil every day including reapplication throughout the day whenever I came in contact with cleansers or had washed my hands with soap and water. Think the oil also contributes to the positive effects, but within 1 week all my nails had visibly grown length and felt stronger. Within 2 weeks the ridges started disappearing and nail growth was becoming even/occurring at an even pace between all nails. By the 3-4th week my nails felt much stronger (thicker, not easily bent and withstood the effects I had been more aware of when previously cleaning house, using cleansers, their being wet often prior to using at all). The change in how much more hydrated and overall stronger my nails and nail beds felt was a huge difference. I applied a thin coat every day for about the first week. Then used a non-acetone remover, then did the same for a 2nd week (probably only 5 days though) and then cleaned and on bare nails, painted 2 coats and only reapplied as needed based on wear and tear the next two weeks. Highly recommend for anyone who typically has strong nails with good growth that’s looking for quick improvement. Polish dries quickly. Less expensive than other higher rated products and brands but I really saw a huge improvement and thought it was 5/5 stars, especially for the price. The only downsides: not a fan of the iridescent pink color (I don’t think it made my nails look healthier). In fact, I noticed at around the 3-4th week that they had grown much faster than I’d ever really experienced but that the white tips looked yellow or dingier than usual. Even when using polish remover and applying a new coat, the color just didn’t suit my nails and skin tone (light skin with neutral, slightly warm undertone). One coat looks fine, but as soon as two coats was applied I disliked the pearlescent pink look overall. The solution also got noticeably more viscous at around 1/2 a bottle remaining, making the finish more bumpy, not self leveled and tiny bubbles occurred when drying because of it not being a thin coat. With 1/4 of a bottle left I’m having to buy a different product because I can’t paint it neatly or thin enough to get a smooth neat looking finish.

It appears to work right away. I brushed it one as soon as I received the package. Puit on three coat. Myu nails look better already!

I was having issues with my toe nails where white deposits started appearing. I read how these deposits can be caused by nail polish as constant use dries out your nail bed. I've been using this product for 3 months now and I do see an improvement. This product is not a polish but more like an oil which helps restore moisture to the nail bed making nails stronger. If used as directed (2× a day), you will see the improvement in your nails. See my before and after pics after 3 months of use.

I received this this morning a couldn't wait to get back home and try it. The consistency is maybe a touch thicker than some regular polishes, but it was also warm in here. I do think it is thicker but goes on very nicely. No lumps or streaks. It has just a touch of lovely pink and has great shine when it is on...some slight shimmer in the bottle but not noticeable when on. I put on 2 "very generous" coats and they both dried very well and quite quickly for me. I do not know yet how durable it is, but I do not have a rough job since I am disabled in my hands a bit. If I encounter any unusually fast peeling, etc. I will update. Next is being patient and observing it before I cover it with color. I bought the 2 bottle offer since it was a better buy in case I want to come back and not pay more. Nails do feel quite strong especially after having been covered with several layers of color for 2 weeks. So far, so good! UPDATE: I am very pleased with this...I am using 2 good coats of this, let it dry well...then I am using 1 coat of the #4 Strengthener which I had bought previously. Let it dry, it takes a while, but this combination is working great for me! with or without colored polish because this alone makes your natural nails look absolutely great. I am glad I bought the double offer! hope this helps someone like it is helping me.

Strengthening formula is too strong and drying. Makes the product EXTREMELY hard to remove. Destroyed my nails so many times trying to remove it. I had to learn the hard way that the most effective method was to soak my fingertips with 100% acetone and wrap in foil for 15-20 minutes. Aren't you supposed to provide instructions for customers?

This is a wonderful product. It’s not thick, it’s perfect consistency for nail polish. I have only put one coat on. This was a week ago. Filled the ridges and smoothed my nails immediately. I bought one bottle. Loved results.. strong healthy nails finally! I bought a second bottle march 30 2025. Opened it May20 2025. Contents yellow! Globs of brown and yellow. Not like the clear product in first bottle. Think I got a bad batch. I put picture of product and the bottle info. Too late to return... want to try another bottle but worried of results.

Ordered this for my Grand daughter. She does nails.

I have taken the time to write up a review. Before using it, I had fragile, splitting nails. I have used this product twice a day for a month so far, and my nails are growing thicker and the splitting has stopped. Would recommend.

Have been using a keratin treatment for a while. This is my first order of Nail Tek Treatments so no long use to review.
