I do about 95% of my shopping on Amazon, and so I really don't have the time to write a review for every single purchase I make. However, I felt the need to review this particular product. I am a chronic snorer (much to my new hubby's dismay), and I suffer from allergies and sinusitis. I mean, I can REALLY snore! I always hate when we go to stay at our families' homes for the holidays, because my snoring disturbs EVERYONE. I have tried everything from nasal sprays, strips, pills, you name it, I've tried it (in desperation) and I'm currently using a "mouth-guard" designed to help ease snoring (which, I've been told by hubby, works okay but not enough. lol) I've been told that when I lay on my back, it's the worst. Funny thing is, when I sleep upright (in a car, or in a chair) I don't make a peep. When I saw this product, I decided to try it. While it's only after the first night, I think I've found a winner. My hubby says that I didn't make a sound at all. And HE got a good night's sleep as well as I! When my husband got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, he said I was sleeping like a baby. On my back. And NOT making a sound! He said I was so quiet, that he became alarmed thinking I had just stopped breathing. The wedge came very quickly (I have the Amazon Prime shipping), and it came in a very tightly rolled up bundle. It didn't take but an hour to completely expand, and it is very comfortable. The only issue was that I did slide down on it a few times, but nothing major. I also have to say that I'm a side sleeper and this pillow, along with my other regular pillow, didn't seem too comfortable on my side. I started out on my side, but then laid on my back the rest of the night. I slept very well, no head-aches from having had my face buried in the mattress from sleeping on my side. So far, so good. I know it's reviewing after only one night, but hey! if it works, it works! I will add an update in about a week, time will tell the truth. Update on my above review...I have been using this wedge for 3 nights now, and my hubby says still no snoring at all from me.I know that I said I'd wait a week before adding an up-date, but honestly, THREE nights in a row without a peep from me is unreal!! In fact, I wake up pretty refreshed, and so now my hubby wants one for himself! I just ordered one for him, and I am sure we both will FINALLY get a good night's sleep! I would highly recommend this wedge if you are a snorer and who disturbs others with the noise. I am, for one, thrilled that for 30 bucks each, I've found an answer to stop my snoring!!!!! Update 08/29/13 I've been using this every night since I've gotten it, and it still works like a charm as far as cutting out the snoring. I recently went on a 3-day weekend getaway, and I took this wedge with me. It was a little embarrassing to drag this wedge in a posh hotel, but I could not get it to roll up or fold to fit inside anything, so I just put it in a plastic garbage bag. I will add, though, a few days ago, I had a bad sinus infection and I did snore according to my hubby, but he said even then, it wasn't so bad to disturb him. Hallelujah! I love this wedge and what it has done for my snoring problem! I hope it works as well for others who have this problem, all I can say it works wonders for me!

The InteVision wedge stopped my post nasal drip sleeping disruptions. I like the cool, soft bamboo cover that can be removed to wash. I also bought the separately-sold cotton pillowcase that perfectly fits the wedge. Included with the wedge is little pillow that I use to support my the neck.

I received this pillow a few days ago. I purchased this pillow as a replacement for my current wedge pillow, which I use to help relieve my acid reflux. This is a large wedge pillow. It is much larger than my current wedge pillow, not just in length and width but also in thickness. I include a photo of both of my pillows for comparison. I didn't realize that the pointy end of the pillow would be as thick as it is... about 2" compared to my current pillow which comes more to a point. You can see the difference in my other photo showing them side by side. This is presenting a problem for me because of my back issues. I mention this not as a criticism of the pillow itself, but more for other people who have back issues and may benefit from knowing about this. I have had some muscle cramping after just 10 minutes lying on it, so I'm taking my time getting used to it, gradually increasing the amount of time I spend with it. I am hoping my back will adjust over time and I'll finally be able to sleep a whole night with it because it really is a nice pillow. My current wedge pillow doesn't have the memory foam like this one does, which really adds a layer of softness and comfort. I also like the extra width and length, allowing more of my body to be elevated. And I love the removable pillow cover. It is textured and seems to grip my night clothes better. It feels like it will make me less resistant to sliding down during the night, although I can't be sure until I am actually able to sleep on it all night through. If I could change one thing, though, I would make the pointy end less thick so that it wouldn't feel like such a gap under my lower back where the pillow ends. For that reason I gave it only 4 stars. The pillow arrived in a box much smaller than you'd think. That's because it is shrink-wrapped. Once you cut open the plastic that surrounds the pillow, the air begins to enter the pillow to re-inflate it. The instructions that come with the pillow mention a slight odor, which will dissipate in a couple days. My pillow had that odor, but it was faint. I set the pillow in another room for 24 - 48 hrs, by which time the odor was gone. Right now I'm still sleeping on my old pillow, and just using my new pillow while watching tv in bed. Eventually I hope my back will get used to the thickness and I'll be able to sleep on it the whole night through. **4/20/2017 UPDATE** I have now been sleeping on this pillow for 10 days or so. My back has adjusted to it's shape. The pillow is very comfortable. I still slide down at night, but not as much as with the old pillow. I think the higher tip and the material help keep me in place. I find that I have to sleep with my head higher up towards the thick end so that the small of my back rests on the narrower end, creating less of a gap, or drop-off, under my back where the pillow ends. I have yet to learn how well the memory foam holds up over time. I've never had memory foam before and have always wondered if it will create permanent depressions and lose it's support quickly. Only time will tell.

Very comfortable, soft and supportive. No smell at all. Love it!

First I will tell you that ultimately, I returned this item. The quality was superb though. Very nice soft memory foam over a sturdy foam base meant comfort without sacrificing support. And the cover it comes with is very nice quality. I bought this because after sending me to a sleep study, my Dr. recommended I try sleeping at an angle... but this was too steep an for me. I enjoyed it more with a pillow behind my head as a prop to watch TV. When I tried to sleep on it, I'd wind up sliding down the bed and waking up with my feet hanging off the end of the mattress and my head resting on the bed with no pillow! This would usually result in a neck cramp as I'd have no pillow supporting my head. Also, side sleeping was not an option at this steep angle and I tend to change positions often in the night. So I decided to make my husband to use it because he's recently started snoring. Not sure what's up with that! After 7 years together, BANG... I have a snorer on my hands! But it worked great for that. He stopped snoring and didn't slide off it but he too complained that it was a little too steep an angle and didn't offer a restful nights sleep. In the end, we returned this product and bought a discounted floor model TemurPedic adjustable bed frame from Mattress Firm. It was honestly one of the best things we have done. Our friends and family made fun of us for buying a 'hospital' bed at 28 & 32 years old, but every single person who teased us, I forced to lay on our new bed and would adjust it to A) watch TV or read... B) Zero gravity position, which is optimal for sleep and comfort as it opens airwaves and relieves pressure on your back and organs and C) the ever so slightly elevated head position my husband and I now sleep in. Every single one of them left my bedroom jealous. I sold them ALL on adjustable bed frames. LOL We are loving the exact customization it offers and have zero complaints. We're sleeping like babies... but I realize everyone can't afford to do that and I am also slightly off topic. So in summery, my opinion of this product is that it is high quality, comfortable and offers support... but at 7.5 inches, it is too tall for both a 5'2" woman and a 6' tall man to sleep comfortably on. I'd suggest getting a 5" tall wedge if you intend to use this for sleeping.
