FEGVE Magnetic Quick Relase EDC Connector, Titanium Magnet Detachable Keychain,Double-Pin Lock Mechanism

This FEGVE keychain is pretty neat! It's made of titanium, so it's super strong and light at the same time. No more bulky keychains weighing down your pockets. The magnets are strong and hold your keys securely, but you can also easily detach them when needed. Plus, the ring swivels all the way around so your keys never get tangled. It is a bit on the expensive side, but overall it's a great keychain if you're looking for something stylish and functional.

I know by the title it sounds like I'm being ridiculous, but this keychain attachment is absolutely perfect for what I wanted/needed. Super easy to use without worrying about an accidental hit and losing your keys. Love how it requires two buttons to be pressed in in order for you to pull the keys. I have my house key andy work key on it, which I used to have on a karabiner by themselves because of how often. I had to take them off to use. Now, I just pop them off really quick and get it close and it reconnects so easily. Its not really obtrusive on my my keys either. Seems like it should last a long time, but only time can tell. Awesome so far.

I have my keys on a keyring attached to a lanyard in a backpack using a carabiner. The keys were difficult to use as the carabiner was too small to easily open (big hands). With this holder, I can detach and reattach the keys with the minimum of effort. Money well spent.

Just to warn prospective buyers - this Magnetic Key Holder doesn't swivel smoothly unlike the other FEGVE connectors such as the FEGVE Ti Key Ring or any of the FEGVE Ti Quick Release Keychains. To describe it more accurately, it has a rather rough swivel action. It does swivel with light external force applied. It's not a deal breaker. It works for my intended use (as shown in the picture). Don't mind the GR5 Mortise Lock Beltclip Key Chain Clip in the picture. That's not part of the FEGVE product line. It's the best Ti Belt Clip in the market if you ask. This is an awesome quick disconnect keychain. I wanted something fast, simple, yet secure, and this covers me on all fronts. In a few weeks of use it has not let go yet, but I can pull it off in an instant. It's awesome for things you want on your keyring but want to use without keys dangling off, like a small flashlight or prybar. I did switch out the provided titanium split rings with some smaller steel rings just to make my flashlight hang a little shorter. This works fine, with the funny side effect that the steel rings pull it in even shorter by being attracted towards the magnetic middle. (No real impact on use, I just thought it was interesting.) The magnet is very strong, and you can hang it on a fridge or other metal surface and it holds quite well. This is works great for my Nitecore Tini2 flashlight when I need to look under the hood of my car. The latch is secure, and I can't imagine it coming loose on accident. I've got some cheaper quick disconnect keyrings for other things that I could live with losing, but for things I really don't want to lose (like USB thumb drives with lots of data) this is the best.

I've used, accidentally detached, and broken a few similar-looking magnetic quick releases over the years; I managed to never lose any keys, but I gave up on the design because I knew I wouldn't be that lucky forever. A couple of distinctive features on this example from FEGVE got me to try again. Titanium construction. Lightweight, and infinitely more durable than plastic alternatives. The true star of the show, however, is the "safety lock system." The magnets are strong, but most will detach if you snag your keys against something while walking fast enough -- this is where the two barbs of the safety lock system come in: the magnets bring the two pieces together, but once attached, it is the barbs that prevent accidental detachment, all while maintaining 360-degree rotation. The buttons are very small (and must both be pressed at once to release), but they're actually really easy to find by feel, without having to look down at my keys. Overall, this quick release works exactly as advertised, and I'm not worried that I'll lose my keys.

I like the light weight of it, the strength of the rings and the clasp, and the general appearance of the key holder. I have no issues with the keychain, it works perfectly for my needs. Id recommend this to anyone looking to cut some weight from their pockets, that also needs a quick release on their key ring.

I've been using this for a couple weeks now and it's quite amazing. I use it to attach a Leatherman Micra to my keychain so that I can easily detach it. Works flawlessly, never has it unintentionally disengaged (which was a concern before purchasing). As a cool bonus, the magnet is strong and it will reattach itself with ease.
