Great solution for my hard contact lenses.

Works absolutely great. I get heavy protein on my lenses This is far superior to my old peroxide solution.

Best that I have found for scleral and other RGP lenses. Cleans the lenses much better than any competing product available at big box and drug stores. Not viscous, so it may not provide much in the way of cushioning for the lenses. However, I’m not sure any solution really cushions or lubricates a lens for more than a few minutes. Included lens case is inadequately marked for left and right.

This is a great product for scleral hard lenses. This, and PuriLens keep lens's comfortable with no goopy residue. You store your lenses in this solution when not wearing them, in contact lens case. Then use PuriLens to rinse them on both sides, then fill lens with it, before putting them in. There are small and medium size plungers that I use always, makes it easier. Glad you carry this, but I thought the bottle size would be 12 oz. Great clarity, but if you notice a smeary look, you have an air bubble on the lens, just remove lens and apply PuriLens again, then apply to eye. Be sure to be bent over at the sink to apply lens's, makes it easier. Also I would recommend a really good eye drop like Systane Ultra. It's a small bottle but will last you a long time, as you won't use it often, but just in case a scleral lens feels dry. Both of these products, I highly recommend !

Recommended by my Optometrist for my hard, gas-permeable lenses. Works great, no filmy residue and never stings my eyes.

I've been using Optifree soft contact solution for my scleral RGP lenses for years because I don't really care for viscosity and the smaller, inefficient size of the Boston containers, which makes for frequent purchases and leads to higher costs. This seemed like a decent compromise - And this solution is made to be used for both soft and RGP lenses. The first few days consisted of cloudy lenses and mild eyelid irritation after a few hours, but it seems my eyes have adjusted and that hasn't been an issue as of late. It is still a bit more expensive than buying the larger bottes of Optifree at Costco, but it's not terribly expensive. Still on the fence it I will purchase again or continue looking at different options, but it does work well.
