Estée Lauder Double Wear Smooth & Blur Mattifying Makeup Primer | Pore Minimizing, 1.35 Fl Oz

I have been using Estee Lauder foundation for years but hadn't tried the primer until January of 2025; I am extremely happy with this product. It's a creamy, white, odorless color that goes on smoothly and effortlessly when applied alone, or when mixed with foundation and applied at the same time AND it definitely helps with adhering and keeping the foundation to the skin - my foundation stays on for ~12 each day!! As mentioned above, I purchased my first tube in January of 2025. That tube lasted until last week (we are in September 2025). The price point is higher than I have paid for primers in the past, but definitely well worth the extra cost.

I absolutely love love love this product! I originally purchased this from Dillards after a make up consultant recommended it. I cannot believe the difference in the appearance of my skin/face once I have put it on. It takes out the shine and it makes my skin/face look visibly younger and smoother immediately. I love the feel of it. It does not feel thick or tacky. It is not dry either, especially if you have a moisturizer underneath. I can go with just the double wear primer or I can add a little powder on top. This has changed my make up routine 100%! I truly look younger as it does smooth and blur. It isn’t like foundation where it can flake or be dry in certain areas like around the nose. It even feels a little tight like you are getting a little tug in all of the right areas to make your face taut, but it is not a dry or irritating tightness. I am on my third tube! I don’t leave the house without it on!

I wore this alone with no makeup and it kept my face from looking oily and shiny for the entire day. I absolutely love it

Very good primer. I use this with my doublewear foundation & it makes my foundation look really nice all day.

I've tried a lot of primers over the years, but this one genuinely stands out. The texture is silky without feeling greasy, and it smooths over pores and fine lines beautifully. My foundation applies more evenly and stays put throughout long workdays in Houston humidity. What I love most is that it keeps my makeup looking fresh without pulling or separating.

No problem with the vendor but I think maybe the recipe maybe it was changed by Estée Lauder because it doesn’t work like it used to same with their foundation

Ottimo prodotto. Ne basta pochissimo per un effetto duraturo per tutto il giorno. Non ingrassa né secca la pelle, ma anzi la mantiene idratata.

This is a lovely luxury primer and it works especially well with Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation. I mainly use it for special occasions rather than every day because the price is quite high for me, but in terms of performance I really can’t fault it. It helps makeup go on much more smoothly, gives a more refined blurred finish, mattifies my oily T-zone well and definitely improves wear time. It has that silky texture you would expect from this type of primer, so foundation glides over the skin more easily and looks more even. I also find it helps keep everything looking fresher for longer, especially when I want my makeup to stay put for an event or a longer day. For anyone already using Double Wear foundation, this feels like a particularly good pairing. It is expensive for a primer, so I would not personally repurchase it for everyday use, but if you do not mind paying more for a premium product that performs well, I would recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous. I use it over my foundation and my face is clean and cool and matte and smooth all day. It’s gorgeous. Definitely worth every penny.
