These ELM 328 Work great with the Droid PISTON APP everytime in all 3 of my cars, SIENNA (2) and FORD F150, it just WOKRS with BT not screwing around and PISTON has LIVE feature you can drive and review the many different values and it lets you CLEAR CODES

Shows up on 3 different Android devices, but cannot connect. Cannot even get to the stage where a pairing code is offered. Tried in 2 different vehicles to ensure OBD2 connection was good. Was able to connect on both vehicles with a wired OBD2 reader. All 3 android devices were able to connect with other bluetooth devices. Attempts to connect with www.cos8000.com, which is listed on the packaging for software, leads to junk/spam/potentially malicious sites. Save $6, don't buy this.

Easy to setup and very accurate! Review: This scanner is a lifesaver. It paired instantly with my phone via Bluetooth and worked perfectly with the Torque app. I was able to clear a check engine light and see real-time data while driving. It's small enough to keep in the glovebox. Great value for the price

Knock off from China. Cheap clone of Elm327. Throttle software now costs money. Vechice selection is slim and basically no options for component tests. Will turn off check engine light and give basic generic codes. I have a 2004 Xterra and no options except erase code, read code, that's about it. If want a basic scan tool this seems to work. Older vechices have no options. Elm327 car scanner is only free app that works. This is the single pcb tool.

I was able to get my Samsung phone to connect to the scanner but the scanner can't talk to my 2005 NT30. If you have a newer vehicle you'll probably have better support. Supported protocols started from the nt31 in my vehicle model

I put this in my Tundra and connected it to Car Scanner and a few other apps - works so well, very very capable device and the price is amazing! I have it connect to my Android/carplay headunit and it’s always running. YES, it can read check engine codes and it can reset the check engine light and codes etc. Also can setup virtual gauges for many of the ECU sensors, which is just cool.
