3 Inch Full Range Speaker Driver Metal Cone Unit for Desktop HiFi DIY, Al-3, Lot of 2 Units

These are sweet sounding little speakers that seem well suited as wideband drivers or midranges in a car audio system. Build quality seems excellent and the speakers are beautiful to look at, as well. They have some heft to them so don’t think they’re just going to screw into a plastic door panel somewhere. It’ll take quality DSP to wring out the best sound from these jewels but they seem to be up to the task. The Liisong AI-3 is a bargain for a set of two!

I originally acquired these for use in a Bluetooth speaker project, but after receiving them I new just from the construction that they would be overkill for that. These are very nice looking and well constructed speakers. They sound phenomenal. These are instead going to be used as my personal desktop speakers after I finish constructing the box they recommend in the listing. Even dropped into an existing closure with non specific characteristics, they still sounded amazing. I'm going to also check out their F-6 model.
