Absolutely hilarious
The funniest game we have played in a long time. Very very silly and family friendly (although also hilarious with a few drinks!). Would highly recommend to anybody with a sense of humour!

Great family fun!
Such a fun game for a family game night. Lots of laughs as people trying to get their words across to their team mates, with their arms linked or without being able to hold the pen with their hands etc. Lots of fun

Fun, fast-paced party game with a goofy twist
We brought Why Are You Like This? to a recent game night, and it was an instant hit! The concept is simple to pick up — flip a challenge card, try to guess as many words as possible while dealing with hilarious restrictions, and see which team can rack up the most points. It’s the kind of game that gets everyone moving, laughing, and completely out of their comfort zone (in the best way). What really stood out was how creative and silly the challenge cards were. From weird voice restrictions to physical gestures, it had us in stitches. The game is clearly designed for lively, outgoing groups who love a bit of chaos. It also comes with a nice variety of 200 Word Cards and 55 Challenge Cards, which kept things fresh across multiple rounds. That said, a couple of things to note. While the Date Night Mode is a fun idea, the game clearly shines more in a group setting — it loses a bit of energy with just two people. Also, depending on the group, some of the challenges might feel a bit too silly or awkward, especially for shyer players. Pros: • Super fun and engaging for parties and groups • Lots of replayability with plenty of word and challenge cards • Quick to learn and easy to set up • Encourages creativity and laughter Cons: • Not as fun with only two players despite the Date Night Mode • Some challenges may feel too over-the-top or awkward for quieter players Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to any game night — just bring a fun-loving crowd and leave your self-consciousness at the door!

Great fun and a good laugh
Hilarious game, and even got family involved who usually dislike board games! The instructions were easy to understand. Bear in mind you need to play this game with people you’re comfortable with, and isn’t kid friendly!

Well known games played with a twist
The game is quick to start and easy to play, with gameplay that’s not new. What is new is now you have to draw act or talk at the same time as completing a challenge. These either add silliness, difficulty or a mix of both, making what is a familiar game more entertaining. Not sure why the age range is set at 14+, other than the ability to understand the word and present it. So if you have a younger family member they may still be able to play, especially if they are fine with other similar games. No egg timer included, but most people have a phone now so not a big deal. Quality and presentation is good, and it’s a very entertains game, likely even better with larger groups. Not sure it is one that would be played on a regular basis, as it doesn’t have any real strategy to it, so will get repetitive after a while. Definitely had a lot of laughs playing it though.

Cool game
Priced: £19.99 This a fun game that is easy enough to play. It is somewhere between the games Alias and Cranium. In a nutshell you have a challenge card which says how you have to describe words from the word card for others to guess, so drawing or gesturing or talking but there are restrictions like talking with your tongue sticking out or gesturing with your hands clasped together. Some of them are pretty tricky. Its a bit random and how well you do may depend just on which card you turn up but it is very interactive and silly and amusing. Its comedy style is very similar to other exploding kittens games but without so much illustration. There are different game modes for smaller or bigger groups of people and there are a really large number of word cards so its also not something where people can learn the answers very easily. Overall I would recommend this as a family game where you can dive right in and everyone can be involved. You can alter the game style as you want because its less about the skill in scoring and more about the playing around with it.

Really fun game, worth hours of laughter and very engaging and entertaining. 100% worth the price and with the quality the creators already got me used to. It's nice that a larger number of players can play at the same time

Exploding Kittens: Why Are You Like This is exactly the kind of game that brings friends, family, or even couples together for laugh-out-loud moments. It’s quick to learn, takes about 15 minutes to play, and is delightfully chaotic in all the right ways. The gameplay is clever and engaging: flip a Challenge Card, follow the quirky restrictions, and try to get your team to guess as many secret words as possible. The twists and challenges keep everyone on their toes, and the variety of word cards plus challenge cards ensures that no two rounds feel the same. I also love that there’s a two-player Date Night mode, which adds a fun, playful dynamic for couples. The game components are simple but effective—200 word cards, 55 challenge cards, and a notepad and pen for scorekeeping—but they don’t need to be flashy. The real magic is the laughter and energy this game brings to any gathering. It’s perfect for parties, family nights, team-building, or just a silly way to break up a quiet evening at home. If you’re looking for something fast, goofy, and endlessly replayable, this game delivers. It’s the kind of game that makes people talk, act, and laugh in ways you didn’t expect—and isn’t that what a great game night is all about?
