Meinl Cymbals HCS Crash Cymbal 16 inch (Video) for Drum Set (40,64cm) Traditional Finish Brass, Made in Germany (HCS16C)

Purchased this cymbal after listening on youtube and i am very impressed. For the price this is a very good cymbal, nice sounding crash cymbal, bright without being too harsh.

I have other Meinl products, but there's something wrong with this cymbal. It sounds out of tune with itself, and definitely out of tune / tone / texture with all of the rest of my kit.

Very sturdy and sound great

I run a rehearsal studio and bit by bit these cymbals have replace the cymbals on the kits. People have cracked our Zildjens, Paistes, Solar and others but for whatever reason, no-one has cracked these (yet!). They make the right noise. Fine for live, wouldn't use them in a recording session personally but we do have really good sets for that side of things.

Seems to be be very solid and good for the price. It is however a bit dull sounding for a crash cymbal and needs quite a hard hit to get the best out of it. Recommend for beginners who want nice looking cymbal at a low price.

I needed a reasonably cheap but ok enough extra cymbal and decided on the Meinl HCS 16 inch Crash.The sound could have been a bit warmer and more sustained but again, for the money you get a good deal.

Great sound for such an affordable cymbal, quite warm and great as back-up/secondary crash.

Son been using these for about a month now...they sound really good..I feel the price was right...very happy I bought these. Son also told me these cymbals sound better then the ones that are used at his high school
