Unusable, pathetic, don't waste your money on this or other Jio products. Basic user interface such as double-clicking an icon to open the folder or app does not work properly -- when double-clicked, the icon simply disappears! Plus, you have to use an external keyboard and mouse, because if you use the in-built mouse and keyboard, the cursor jumps all over the place so much that you cannot even type in one sentence properly without the cursor jumping off to other places! Basic apps such as text editor, Word-equivalent, etc do not work properly. If you create a document in Office TextMaker which is pre-installed, and then save the doc, later TextMaker does not open that doc, it complains that the file format it saved the doc in is not supported! And, if you open a doc or docx file, modify it and then try to save it, instead of simply saving the file in the same format it asks you to select a format from a dozen options! Atrocious. Google Meet does not work properly. Many Android apps are not available or supported on this JioBook. This device tries to be both Android and a Linux laptop, ends up being neither. If you get fed up with its atrocious interface, there is no way to dual-install Linux or get basic Linux facilities such as a command terminal. The battery died in less than a year -- fortunately it was in the warranty period. Finally, email to their advertised customer care address bounces back! This company has abandoned this product and its users, and after doing that it does not even provide a way for users to skip their JioOS and install Linux, after JioOS is such a disaster. Never trust any hardware product from this company or their customer support!

I purchased the jioBook from Amazon, and unfortunately, the experience has been problematic from the very first day. Upon initial startup, the device displayed system prompts indicating that certain applications were not working properly. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I performed multiple factory resets (three times in total), but the problem persisted each time. I then contacted Amazon customer support and was advised to reach out to jio support. jio support, however, did not provide a clear technical resolution and directed me to visit a local authorized service center. Over the past six months, I visited the service center at least four times for the same recurring issue. I contacted jio support they said factory reset the issue. The core problem is frequent system crashes where an error screen appears indicating an app failure. Following this, none of the services function properly—not even the keyboard. Keyboard doesnt work, I connected USB keyboard, that also doesnt work. I connected wireless keyboard,that also same issues as default jiobook keyboard. The only way to recover is by performing a hard restart using the power button. This issue consistently occurs after a few minutes of normal usage. On insistance of jio support, In past 6 months I have lost count but definitely between 12-15 factory resets done. But Keyboard doesn't work when it freezes. Day 1 to 6 months, i have struggled to operate the book every single time i have used it. Never gonna suggest anyone to use a non Windows product, and definitely not jiobook that only buys Made in China and put their brand labels and sell you make local product but zero service. To support my complaint, I recorded videos clearly showing the screen freezing, keyboard becoming unresponsive, and the system crashing. Unfortunately, the service center staff did not review the evidence and stated that the device was functioning normally during their brief inspection. They also declined to retain the device for extended testing, despite the issue being intermittent and time-dependent. Additionally, the service center was unwilling to provide any written acknowledgment or denial of service, even though Amazon requested one for further assistance. No formal complaint was registered, and no diagnostic process was carried out. Overall, the product has been unreliable, and the after-sales support experience has been disappointing. Buyers should carefully consider not just the specifications and pricing, but also the quality of software stability and the effectiveness of service support before making a purchase. Im still not sure why Amazon even gives 1 star mandatory. This product and services deserve negative

Go for it, just know it's limitation, it is not for gaming/coding. If you need daily Task Office work it's too good The best thing is it works, and done the job. You can't expect it to be the best and do all for you. It does what it mean to do

The system is unstable. Many app could not be downloaded as the new versions are not available. Mouse movement is erratic

Keyboard goes non responsive multiple times in day and every time you have to restart to work, this is very annoying ...there's no direct option to return, it suggests technical assistance etc. Which is not friendly for working person not available at home between 9am -6pm Avoid this product

Good product. 16 or 14 inch screen size would be better.
