Nice, lightweight blanket. Wash first on delicate cycle because it sheds.

I read the reviews. I knew people said they were “hairy” and shed a lot. I figured I’d enjoy them for as long as I could. Pros: beautiful, soft, comfy, nice weight, Cons: not all threads are connected and I had to tie ends together straight out of the package. I’ve very gently washed them 3 times and each time they get harrier and harrier and shed individual hairs and clumps of fuzzies. I’m still enjoying their softness and pretty color, but probably not much longer. I’ve had them 6 months.

This sofa throw is so gorgeous and so SOFT!! The colors and the weave are clean and bright, and excellently made. I got the multicolored one because I slip cover my sofas ( stretch velvet) and change the colors through the seasons and all my pillows will go with it. I have owned several chenille throws and they have to be treated with care because of the weave and the fibers, and they last for years with care. The care is no different than for any knitted garment. I saw a review that had a picture of a "flub" or "worn" area. But that is the beauty of chenille or indeed, ANY knitted item. If people don't like that look then they should just get those tin foil space blankets instead. Like 100% linen they age into oh so soft throws that feel like hugs on those cold, rainy, snowy days.

Beautiful and very soft, but came with a HUGE pull in it and I could see if I got a replacement it would pull within minutes. Nice blanket for show, but not to be used
