I’ve been having sink blockage issues for a while and I confess I normally shove way too much rubbish down the sink so definitely my own fault! My Plumber recommended this and they are incredibly effective. Simply pop it in the plug hole and watch it gather up the tiniest bits of “stuff”in the water. Yes the water takes longer to drain away when it’s caught a the stray bits but the strainer is easy to lift out and pop all the detritus in the bin and when clean the water drains normally - video. great idea and I’m absolutely convinced this will stop any future blockages. stupidly happy with this item considering it’s cost and worth every single penny

Fits in the bath plug hole perfectly and traps hair - perfect. Very light and easy to dislodge, and the cat keeps pulling it out to inspect the plug hole, but that's a cat problem rather than a strainer problem...

I’ve been using this in my shower when I wash my hair and it’s been really handy. It fits nicely over the drain and stays in place, so it’s not sliding around all the time. It catches hair really well, which has saved me from dealing with clogged drains. Cleaning it is quick too—just lift it, remove the hair, and rinse. The stainless steel feels solid and hasn’t rusted so far. On the downside, you do have to clean it pretty often or it builds up fast. Also, it might not fit every drain perfectly, and it’s pretty basic looking. Overall though, it does exactly what I need and makes dealing with hair in the shower way easier.

Had to get a refund for these as they just don’t stay in place. They do catch the bigger bits of food and stopped my sink from clogging, but they shift around the second you pour any water in. It’s a bit of a pain having to hold it down just to drain pasta water.

Brilliant, does the job it's supposed to. Just need to buy a smaller plug to fit it so I can fill the sink!

Fits my bathplug perfectly, and does the job well of preventing my long hair blocking up the plug hole! Also easy to remove the hair from the middle as it collects and whirls itself together in a small clump. I previously had a suctioned one that went over the bath plug area, and as there were still gaps underneath it, the hair would sometimes still get into the plug hole, but that doesn't happen with this one. Would recommend.
