Powerful, Versatile, and Built Like a Tank!
This thing is a beast! The brightness is incredible - crisp, focused and cuts through water with ease. The zoom feature is smooth and practical, letting me switch from wide beam for exploring to a tight spotlight when I need to see details up close. The quality of this torch is rock-solid! I love that it doubles as both a dive light and a handheld flashlight, all while remaining lightweight and easy to maneuver - it’s truly versatile! The battery life is excellent and it charges quickly. The torch never gets hot to the touch or anything else like some do. If you are looking for a reliable, high performance dive light that is a fantastic value for the cost and delivers serious illumination underwater and topside, the OrcaTorch ZD710 is absolutely worth it. Five stars all the way!

Must have for any Scuba Diver
The Orcatorch ZD710 is an absolute game-changer for underwater adventures! This dive light combines power, versatility, and ease of use in a sleek, durable package that's perfect for any dive. The zoomable beam is fantastic—it lets you switch from a focused spot to a wide floodlight with just a simple adjustment. This feature alone makes it incredibly versatile, ideal for exploring everything from tight crevices to broad underwater landscapes. One of the most impressive aspects of the ZD710 is its brightness. With a powerful output of up to 2700 lumens, this light cuts through dark waters with ease, offering excellent visibility even in low-visibility conditions. The high-quality beam is both intense and evenly distributed, providing a clear view without hot spots. The build quality of the ZD710 is equally impressive. It's rugged, waterproof, and built to withstand the wear and tear of regular diving, giving you peace of mind knowing it won't let you down. The grip is ergonomic, and the controls are easy to operate even with gloves on. Battery life is also fantastic, ensuring it lasts through extended dives without a hitch. Highly recommended! Comes in a very nice storage box that includes the light itself, battery (love the USB-C charging port on the battery itself. No need for a charger.), USB-C cable, lanyard, and spare O-Rings

My favorite dive light. It's both a primary light, and a video light
Absolute game-changer! The ability to seamlessly switch from a primary dive light to a video light, plus the Turbo mode, is seriously impressive. The narrow beam is exceptionally focused, making it perfect for communication underwater, while the wide beam provides beautiful, even illumination for video. It’s incredibly versatile, well-built, and an all-around fantastic tool for any diver. Both times I've taken it to go night diving, I've been blown away by how incredible it is. It is a bit big, but it packs a ton of light! So that's a tradeoff I'm happy to take. I haven't had any issues with power or battery. In fact, I like the battery. You can charge it with a USB-C cable. Pretty cool. It's also great that it comes with two batteries. Highly recommend!

Zoom zoom on the new Orcatorch light! Love it!
This light is exceptional for versatility on night dives or for video light! The ability to change from a flood spread of light to a more focused stream light is helpful and so easy with just the turn of the front element. Once thing I loved about the light was the battery power indicator color on the push button, letting you know if you need to switch it out before the next dive or keep on swimming! It is best for video light or night dive coverage or to use as a focus light for still photography, especially macro work! The quality is unmatched and the durability and reliability is what I have come to expect from Orcatorch.

Perfect balance between a focused hotspot and a wide spill
I’ve been using the OrcaTorch ZD710 on my recent dives, and it’s quickly become my favorite scuba light. It’s compact and durable, making it easy to carry and reliable in any situation. The brightness is incredible—at 2,700 lumens, it cuts through dark and murky waters effortlessly, giving me clear visibility. What really impressed me is the beam quality. The light has a perfect balance between a focused hotspot and a wide spill, so I can see what’s directly ahead while still being aware of my surroundings. The magnetic side switch is easy to operate, even with gloves on, and switching between brightness modes feels smooth and intuitive. The burn time is another big plus. On the highest setting, it lasts around 1 hour and 40 minutes, which is plenty for most of my dives. On lower settings, the runtime stretches even further, which is great for extended dives or conserving battery. The 5000mAh rechargeable battery charges quickly with the included USB-C cable, making it convenient to get it ready for my next dive. The included carry/storage case is a nice bonus. It’s sturdy and compact, making it easy to store the light and its accessories safely. The case has a molded interior that keeps everything organized, so I don’t have to worry about the light or battery getting damaged during transport. It’s also slim enough to fit easily into my gear bag without taking up too much space. I’ve tested the ZD710 on different dives, including night dives, wreck dives, and deeper technical dives, and it has performed flawlessly every time. To show you just how versatile the beam is, I’ve attached a video from one of my recent wreck dives. In the video, you can see the beam’s minimum and maximum angles in action—it’s perfect for both focusing on details and lighting up a broader area. This light is rugged enough to handle tough underwater conditions, and with its 150-meter depth rating, I never have to worry about pushing it too far. Overall, the OrcaTorch ZD710 has exceeded my expectations. It’s bright, reliable, and versatile enough for any type of diving I do. The thoughtful addition of the carry case is the cherry on top, making it even easier to bring along. Whether you’re a recreational diver or a tech diver, I’d highly recommend it—it’s worth every penny!

Purchased the Orcatorch ZD 710 MK2 light for a dive trip to Vancouver island in August of this year. The switch on the light failed after 9 dives, unfortunate but stuff happens. I contacted Ashley of Outdoor Equipment Experts and Ashley arranged to have the light replaced no charge. I received the replacement on October 14th and just got in the water with it yesterday. Light worked great, very bright and the adjustable beam makes it very versatile under water. This light made my backup light look dull. Thank you Ashley for the great service

Torch is excellent. Bright enough to shine to 3-4m comfortably to have a look from the surface. Then easy to adjust the light to suit when down in cracks.

I wanted an adjustable beam for my dives and paid a premium for this light. I also liked the 21700 battery with built-in USB charging, which can help in some remote situations. As with all Oractorches, the whole package has a premium feel. As expected, the wider openings work well, but the point beam is ugly and distracting. It is square-shaped, clearly showing 4 LED lights, their separations, dirt particles, and imperfections. The beam has a very pronounced yellowish hue at the edges, becoming more distracting as the beam narrows. Also, I didn't like the in-between size of this flashlight. It fits nicely in the hand but is too big for a pocket and small for a Goodman's handle. It's too early to tell, but the zoom mechanism appears short-lasting with many immersions, salt, and sand. Consider carrying two fixed lights instead of ZD710.
