Excellent, well made, comfortable
These Rockers are superb! Have bought 3โฆ2 came in perfect while the last one came in with 2 parts damaged. Contacted the company through Amazon and received replacement parts within 5 days. Customer support was excellent! The first 2 were perfect And took 15 minutes to put together and the sturdiness and comfort were exactly what is was after. Using them on my back screened porch and they are doing great. Will be getting my 4th one shortly! Highly recommend!!!

Best and highest quality and craftsmanship. Love it!!
Don't go cheaper, you will regret it. These do not wear out or disappoint. Very comfortable, heavy duty and would not surprise me if it lasts to be passed on to my great great grandchildren!! I bought a different rocking chair that boasted a 600lb weight limit that was 1/2 the price of this one, and it was broken in less than a year.

Great sturdy good looking chair but unfinished means unfinished
I had this and another rocking chair on my list for what seemed like forever. I had been looking for a rocking chairs for over a year and all I could find were spindly grandma style chairs. Nope wouldnt do. These chairs were going to the living room for the wife and I in lieu of a couch. So the very good .. The chairs are a beast. You can sit legs up, slouch to the left and right, one foot on the seat and rock like you mean it. I ran carpentry shops and I can tell you .. if the house fell I would want to be under these chairs. They are made of 2x4 and held together with carriage bolts and nuts. The provided instructions are a breeze to follow. Ya cant mess it up. All the holes are drilled perfectly. The chairs are especially roomy. Its hard to tell from the measurements given on other reviews and pix without people don't help. While I am not the largest guy ever at 185 lbs I can tell you .. you are not locked into a single position like most other rocking chairs. The wife and I have been in them for hours watching movies on a Sunday. The beauty is you can shuffle around. They are pine so while some will scoff .. the nice part is, if you get the unfinished as I did .. Pine will drink stain and has a nice figure when stained. Mine were stained with Minwax true black and they look amazing. The not so great .. I wont call them cons since I dont think they rise to that level and perhaps they did it for a reason .. the list is small. I bought the unfinished because I had a particular look I was going for to go along with a little sprucing of the living room. Unfinished did indeed mean unfinished. Wherever a cut is made the edge is left as if it just came off the saw. Depending how particular you are or what look you are going for .. have some sandpaper on hand if you get the unfinished chair. The inside curves of the legs, the ends of the arm rests and even the ends of all the slats is ROUGH. For outdoor furniture which I think it was designed for .. maybe it doesnt matter but if you are looking for indoor furniture and want a bit more refinement. Get ready to sand. Its pine which is soft so sands easily but .. its a review .. you should know. Second not so great .. Torx head screws!! Here is one of those WHAT WERE THEY THINKING. The arm rest was loose and would move. Came out of the box that way on both chairs. Not a big deal .. just need to snug up those 4 screws per armrest ... Take a look and .. its torx. Now I happen to be a DIY kind of guy so I happen to have a couple of sets around but .. I am pretty sure torx bits are not something in every household. They should have just gone with Phillips. I live in AZ and the amount wood moves between seasons is amazing. Add to that .. its a rocking chair .. and things may periodically need a little snugging. if they are going to assemble with Torx they should include at least a little key like that dreaded ikea stuff. So not so bad Bads. EXTREMELY happy with the purchase and would recommend them without reservation The price seemed very fair in comparison to other chairs I had looked at and I scoured the net.. So .. roomy, well built, Good Looking and easy to assemble with very durable pieces Just remember to have a bit of sandpaper on hand and some torx bits.

Let's rock y'all!
I sought for years before I made a choice for 2 rocking chairs. I was worried about longevity, sturdiness, comfort and the look of it. When I seen these can hold up to 600 pound people that took care of the sturdiness. Once I got them and sat in them that took care of the comfort as for a wood chair without a cushion I was pleasantly surprised the comfort. I had some cushions from my prior 2 chair but that made them less comfortable oddly. A note of caution as the type of wood used although heavy duty and strong is somewhat also soft in that if you ding them they will easily show marks or dings. I gave myself a few when I was not careful enough after putting them together in my living room then moving them out onto the front porch. But since I already had on hand the cedar stain of the same color from my porch swing I brushed some on and now the tiny couple marks are nearly invisible. Be sure during assembly you follow directions and do not tighten the bolts until the end because it helps in assembly & leveling. I recommend with all bolts left a little loose, thereafter fully assembled set the rocker upright normally as it would sit. Then tighten all bolts as this way the rocking will be the smoothest and your pieces will go together easier. For the longevity I believe they will last decades with some normal care. At about 45 lb. each they are very heavy so you know they will not loosen joints or fall apart. The Amish Centerville people who designed these chose carriage bolts that are weatherproof and colored brass. There were only 6 pieces that I had to put together as all the slats and major parts were already put together. The rocking motion is important. Due to the 2 rocker bottom pieces being fashioned very well they rock very smoothly. Another important thing many overlook is the leanback of the chair angle. I state this simply because previously I purchased 2 iron metal rockers last year but the leanback was way too much. Meaning when you sat it them normally you were leaning abnormally far back making the chair uncomfortable. From this same company I have a back porch swing too and love it! I live in Illinois where our winters can be rough with temps down to zero. I just cover it with a small 5 x 8 tarp with bungee cords. This stops the water that would normally ges on the swing from freezing thus expanding the wood making it crack. I will plan on doing the same next winter for the 2 rockers. If you wish you can see my review on the swing and photos at this link below, my photo is the 1st one as of today you will see under the review section, and the photo of the porch that has the overhead fan in the photo: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CPJATTK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 There is more to designing a rocker than one would think. The leanback of these are just right, making the rocking even more appreciated. I have done my best to assist my fellow Amazonians in their own considerations and hope my time typing this review helps. I appreciate personally all the reviews on hundreds of items for my prior purchases over the decades. So for this review I am giving back. Therefore I will 5 star this item and give it a 100% honest recommendation.

Well made sturdy rocker.
Easy to assemble and well built. Itโs nice to support a company in the US. Ordered the cedar stain, nicely done. Iโm happy I made this purchase. The angle back is perfect, and the way they rolled the seat does not cut into the back of your legs. You wonโt be sorry with your purchase.

GREAT AND DURABLE!!
Love everything about them!! Easy assembly with a rubber mallet and impact! I ordered the unfinished ones and they came in sanded and ready to stain. Took about 10 minutes per chair to assemble. Great quality and very durable!!
