The socket and plug appear to be of high quality and made of good materials for handling the 50 amperes. The contacts are well finished and should wear well. I have not yet installed due to weather, but have fit checked and will work on my FR Fifth Wheel trailer. I believe that if I needed only plug or socket, I might buy the pair again because the pair pricing was better than some of the single end prices...also, by purchasing both, I feel like I am guaranteed that they will work together.

I've installed this on pour Winnebago RV. Sooo Much easier than the original poorly designed stuff.

There is nothing exceptional about the product but it does everything it needs to and feels solid. Given that it's much less expensive than many other comparable products and the kit gives you everything you need for a waterproof connection it's a great deal. I used this as a generator and power inlet for my house backup. It was a great solution because the cord is now also compatible for powering most RVs and boats.
