FAR AND AWAY the best car mount I’ve ever owned (not even including the charging.) I drive 45,000+ miles per year for work and have been using this mount for the last 2+ years. The magnet still works perfectly, I think I can legitimately remember 1 time my phone ever fell off the magnet. The charger is still amazing; it charges fairly quickly, the cord has never fallen out of the mount and they fit snugly. The only problem I’ve had, after 2+ years where I REALLY put it to the test, is that the adhesive that has it mounted to my dash has started to come off. I’d say the rough roads I have to drive regularly for work and the amount of miles it’s been through has more to do with that than the actual product. I actually have absolutely no issues! I genuinely love the product so much that instead of making what would very likely be an easy fix; I saw there was a newer, faster charging version available and I decided to reward a company that made a fantastic product with another purchase!

Very nice mount. Installed easily in the correct position and looks great in my Tesla Model Y, Juniper. I love the fact that you can position it in different configurations with very easy adjustments. And the bigger plus is that it folds away so that it's not visible. Material workmanship is of very good quality. My phone is not a magnet phone. And the case that I got for it was not attaching well. I purchased the metal rings that are sold separately and attached one to my phone and one to the case. Now it attaches very strongly, like glue. The charger would not charge through the phone case. But the phone attached without the case, charged perfectly. Overall, I'm very happy with this mount. It's a great value for the price and quality. And highly recommended.

This is a great car mount. And ESR stands behind their products. If you have an issue or a question about a product of theirs that you purchased, their Customer Service is very helpful and responsive. This is exactly the kind of mount we needed for our car. The adhesive for the dash mount is very strong and secure. The halolock magnet in the charger holds the phone securely. It works great with our Otterbox, Mous, and off-brand phone cases from Amazon. The adjustable arm and rotatable base works great in different positions. You can unlock both the arm and swivel-lock base to rotate and adjust height for different drivers. It's still a little tough to adjust after unlocking. But once the arm and base are locked back into place, they stay that way. My wife and I need the mount in different positions. So this works great for us. 4 months after purchasing this ESR Halolock car mount, the tightening ring on the back of the halolock part of the mount broke, which made that part of the base floppy. And it fell off a couple of times, while driving, because it could not stay securely attached to the adjustable arm. So I went to ESR's website, and contacted them for product help, requesting a replacement ring, since the original ring broke. The rest of the mount is still working great. They just asked me to send them a picture of the issue, which I did. They said they'd send me a replacement. I thought they would just send me the tightening ring, like I requested. But they sent me a whole new car mount! And it arrived the next morning! That response far exceeded my expectations. Anyway... I just took the ring off the new mount, and used it to replace the broken one. The rest of the mount still works great, and is still very securely attached to the dash. Anyway... this is great car mount. Abs ESR has great customer service.

The MagSafe Car Mount Charger works great! I bought it for my son’s car. He needed to use it for maps when he was going out of town. He said that it worked great! It was nice and secure while driving and he would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a good sturdy car mount. :)

My vehicle: 2022 Lincoln Aviator. My phone: IPhone 15. The first charger I tried was a product that attaches to the vent but the Aviator has really small vents and while it was a great charger, it was obstructing the air flow from the vent as well as the access to the function buttons for the radio and other controls. I then purchased this one with hopes it would cure those issues. I ordered it during Prime Days so SCORE! As usual delivery was the next day. As I was heading on an 8 hour trip I wanted to install it immediately. I quickly realized that there is no actual flat surface in an Aviator. There are only appearances of flat surfaces as everything has curves and dips. So I decided I would try the windshield on the far left side as low as possible where I would still have complete horizontal and vertical movement of the phone on the perch and not be visually impaired while driving by its placement. Installation was a breeze. Thirty seconds at most. Remove the paper on the back of the mount, stick it to the windshield, hold for a minute or so, poof, done. I did not need to use the wipes as my windshield had just been cleaned at the carwash. The cord from the windshield to my charger did require me to use a little painter's tape (so it won't leave residue) to secure it to the underside of the dash so it wouldn't dangle down on the right side of the steering wheel. I adjust the height and depth for the best placement for me with the phone on it and immediately realized I could look at it without my eyes leaving the road as it did with the vent charger or placing it on the storage bin of the vehicle on my right. The location just required me to do a quick side eye left to see anything that popped up or to look at Googlemaps but my eyes remained level with the roadway. In addition, because it was essentially even with the top of my steering wheel on the far left of the vehicle's window, I had a completely unobstructed view while driving. This was most imperative during the drive back when it was nighttime and raining and visibility was already impaired. By not having to take my eyes off the road to look at the map or a ding from the phone was certainly safer not just for me but everyone on the road with me. The charging capacity is great. I let the magnet grab my phone as soon as I open my vehicle's door and as soon as I start it up the charge is working. I see by the green light on the side of the charger. I'm not an IT person so how fast compared to others or how many watts I cannot tell you but my phone is sufficiently charged as I need it. On short runs it charges and on long runs it charges. Therefore, it does what I bought it for and my phone hasn't run out of charge yet. I also charge it at home so I'm not just relying on the charger here. The magnet is very strong and even on a cobblestone road it did not jar loose. The only time it did was when my wonderful teenage doesn't-care-if-it-isn't-hers daughter put it on without connecting it correctly and it fell immediately. Oy! Lesson learned. When put on by a caring person who pays for things it holds the phone without fail, does not bounce around, is securely attached to my windshield, and charges. My only negative, and this may actually be a Lincoln or Appleplay issue, is that most of the times I cannot get it to play music or play out my Googlemaps turn-by-turn without some fiddling with the settings on both the radio app and the phone app. Again, I don't think this is the charging device's issue but I was taught one has to always put something to improve with all the positives so this would be it I guess. I would definitely purchase this charger again and in fact will likely purchase it for the passenger side of the vehicle (so my daughter can continue to drop her phone on the floor and learn how it is to either live without a phone when it breaks or how she has to get a job to pay for her new one).

Got this to get my phone out of my cup holder or the cubby above my shifter that causes the charge cable to get caught up. Car is a '19 Civic Si, phone is a s24+. Pros: Very sturdy overall design Stays in place Cons: Does not come with the magnet ring that you need for it to even attach You either have to have the usb in the charger pad or into your phone. If you have a car that doesnt have NAV unless hooked to your phone (android auto), youll have to pick to either charge or use the phone display while its mounted, to watch for directions Only works with some cases, the mag ring that isnt included but it required blocks the kickstand on my case, not a big deal for me but may for others, this also means if your phone case can hold cards, its going to be a hinge point and could fall, swing or make it so it cant close again There isnt a dash mount holder that im aware of that doesnt make the phone block the center vents, this is no exception. Come winter (now) that heat is going to blast the back of your phone and could cause damage over time or go into overheat protection Lastly I would continually receive error messages unless I manually switched my phone to charge only. This caused the wireless charging to work intermittently This may work for some but not for me

Easy to install and use. Charges your phone fast and the magnets are really strong. Works great overall a good value. Just make sure this mount will be good for your vehicle. Otherwise I’d recommend.
