This book is great. It teaches readers to be adaptable and to make the most with what you have. The whole book has a rhyming scheme which is a delight to read. The art is fun and whimsical. It has captured the attention of kids as young as two and as old as 10, so it is appropriate for most young families.

Beautiful, whimsical book for when you want some snuggly reading with your child. The wording sometimes feels for adults rather than for children, but we still love it, mostly for the illustrations.

This is a fantastic book for toddlers! The illustrations are beautiful, but it's the story that is really wonderful -- funny, heartwarming and a joy to read. My 4 year old grandson loves it.
