The easiest way to determine which rail you have is to measure the width of the slot that runs perpendicular to the rails (perpendicular to the sight line when the rail is mounted on a rifle). Picatinny rails have slots that are 0.206 inches wide. Weaver rails have slots that are 0.180 inches wide.
