I have shorter hair, 4” at the longest and this tool works great. But 2 things to know, 1) the temperature read out is Celsius so it’s number is lower but it’s hotter in reality. 2) if you hold the tool way up past the buttons and read out display, you won’t interfere with the settings while using the tool. It only takes about 5 or 6 seconds to wave the hair. No burning takes place. I like how light it is. Some tools are so heavy and tiring to use but not this one. I’m thrilled with this tool and you’ll be glad you purchased it too.

I have naturally wavy/curly hair on some days, other days it’s not so curly. I have thin hair and I love how much body this gives my hair. My daughter on the other hand, has thick hair and she did not think this worked real well on her hair. It gives her some wave, but it looks much different on me.

This iron is a great deal for the money. The waves are exactly what I wanted. Heats up fast and super lightweight! The only problem is the placement of the power and heat control buttons. They are on the top of the handle where you would hold to crimp. Needless to say I have to get creative holding it so that I’m not changing the setting or turning the power off.

This is not a waver IMO. It’s a crimper, and that’s exactly what it did to my hair. Looked like I stuck my finger in a an electrical socket. I guess it depends on your texture of hair but it’s not for me.

Works great , easy to use other than constantly turning it off or the temperature down because of the button placement (no thumb grip) .

Great iron! It does what it says. If you want beachy waves, this is the iron for sure! I was doing mine manually with a straightener. This iron made my life easier.
