Easy install, functional, and a tremendous help when transiting basement stairs after knee replacement surgery. Highly recommended even without knee surgery.

Really no problem with assembly, I taped the outer covers in the middle of the handle then bolted on the mounting plates, this prevented any scratches and made sure they were not forgotten. Would have preferred a little more substance to the bar but seems sturdy enough when mounted on wall. Looks nice, time will tell, like for most things.
