Extremely bad design does not have a breakaway section between the ball and the hub and could permanently damage your Haimer. It has what appears to be a ceramic break away section between the ball and hub shaft, but I recently broke mine and shaft just bent, it is a solid steel shaft between the hub and tip, ceramic section was loosely fitted. Had I hit the tip harder probably would have damaged my Hainmer, and typically a total loss at that point. Also when trying to align the ball when I first installed this tip the ball was significantly out of alignment requiring adjustment screws close to their maximum range. Would only recommend the OEM tips, these are very poor replacements.

Not even the right length to replace a Haimer 80.362.00. Will always give .015-.02 error as the probe is too short

Worked well. The tip was precise. Be aware that there are 2 sizes for the Haimer so make sure yiu get the right one. I have broken a few of tgese. Tge break away feature has saved my gauge a few times.

after putting the tip on to my 3d haimer i tested the run out was more then 2mm off and clearly was how the tip was attached to the metal part. i would not recommend rather spend the extra $20 and buy a quality haimer probe
