I love these. They have grips on the top and the bottom so they don’t slip off the bed or cause the sheet to be slipping all over them. They give me reassurance my child is safe and isn’t going to fall off her new big kid bed! You can also take the covers off them and wash them! They are made of memory foam so they are really comfortable. I love how big they are. The grips on the top and bottom make them feel sturdy. No need to worry about them falling off the bed! We bought these bumpers for our daughter’s twin bed after discovering gaps between the mattress and the frame. Since then, I’ve made sure the sheet is fitted tightly and I check occasionally to confirm they haven’t shifted. Our daughter is almost four and about 50 pounds, and the bumpers have worked well for her size and weight. Great quality and such a great idea overall. Net superior to any of the inflatable versions. It's also got non-slippery strips to avoid it moving around or even falling off the bed. You can use it in your toddler's cot once you've decided to take the side/s of the cot off, and you can use it in a single, double, queen, etc bed on either side... safe and easy! Totally recommend it!

I was worried after reading comments about smell and can't return to shape. After it arrived I washed the cover immediately and air both rails for 48 hours ++ to get rid of the smell. The strategy was successful, no more smell and shape was totally fine. If you're worrying too, don't be, just leave it outside for long and if you are still concerning, just wrap something outside the rail. Otherwise my baby love it, he likes to rest his tiny feet on it.

Grippy base makes the bumpers stay in place relatively well, it fit in the cot (taking up the full length) and long enough to work on a full size bed. It's a good idea to get a deeper fitted sheet for bumper to fit under it and still wrap around the mattress neatly.
