Keto friendly!
I have been on keto for a while now and my guilty pleasure has always been chips and cheese puffs. Well I happen to stumble across these on my feed and thought why not? So I purchased the jalapeño cheddar because everyone seemed to buy that one and say it was delicious but spicy and I am all about that spice. I was not disappointed. The puffs are smaller than a traditional cheese puff, however they have that satisfying crunch and mouth feel. The taste is yummy and the jalapeño cheddar ones do pack a slight punch. I would compare it to flaming hot Cheetos heat, if you stop eating you can feel that burn. I was so happy with this purchase I immediately went back on amazon and bought the sour cream and onion flavor. Those also were fantastic. I’ve come across many protein products that promise to taste great but flop. These don’t have that powdery texture or after taste. They do taste like small cheese balls. I will say it is slightly pricey compared to the big buckets of cheese balls you but at your local store, but for someone who has been struggling to satisfy that need, I will suggest these to anyone. Very pleased. Only suggestion is to see if can lower the price to under $20 if able to? Cause I would be buying every flavor.

Save your money
Very disappointing product, the puffs themselves are tiny, imagine Cocoa Puffs cereal size but maybe even smaller. The texture is extremely hard unlike normal cheese puffs and the flavor is also bad. I do legitimately feel scammed but knock yourself out. 26 bucks can get you pounds and pounds of lean meat if you’re looking to diet so save your money!!

Does the trick... with some caveats
I bought the Jalapeño version of the snack. First off: barely spicy. So don't worry if that's a problem to you. But the claims of cardboard taste are not far off. Once you get past the initial flavor, the cardboard-esqueness rapidly comes in. But more egregious than that is the FILM. Imagine the the cheapest Cheetos-knockoff you've ever had, and that gross chemical layer of grime that covers your mouth after you eat a mouthful. If you get weirded out by mouthfeel: it's gonna stop you in your tracks. But, all that being said. It does in a pinch. It has an extremely satisfying crunch to it, and if the Nutrition block is to be believed, 21g's of protein for a snack which (calorie-wise) would otherwise be a waste of some garbage you buy at the office vending machine, it really can't be beat. As for the price. It's certainly steep. But if you keep it at your desk and take two handfuls a day, it'll last you a while. It's a solid 3. It's not a snack for taste, it's a utilitarian snack of necessity if you're looking for more protein and less of Chester Cheetah slop.

A four - but with Realistic Expectations
If you are craving a snack that feels utterly sinful, as though you’re cheating on your diet without actually cheating, this is not that snack. Let’s be very clear about that up front. These Twin Peaks Protein Puffs (Jalapeño Cheddar) do not taste indulgent. In fact, my husband snuck a handful (without permission) and nearly spit them out, declaring they “taste like cardboard.” I laughed… because I still ate, and enjoyed them. Here’s the context that matters: I gave up sugar three years ago and have since lost 185 lbs. That does not mean I tolerate bland food. Quite the opposite I desire flavor and genuinely hate boring snacks. While I wouldn’t say the flavor here is “great,” I also wouldn’t say I hated them. They are a bit dry in both taste and texture, but there’s a spicy kick that keeps you reaching for more. Somehow, despite the dryness, they’re oddly addictive. -- PLEASE NOTE -- These are not cheese puffs. They are not a “wow” moment. They are, however, a functional snack, keto-friendly, low-carb, high-protein, and in that reality, they do their job. My biggest complaint? The size. These are shockingly small. Like… Tiny-Tiny-Blink small. That alone kept this from being a higher-rated snack for me. Bottom line: - If you’re expecting indulgence, skip these. - If you’re keto, low-carb, and looking for something crunchy with a little heat, and you’ve retrained your taste buds, these are acceptable, tolerable, and surprisingly habit-forming. Indeed -- Not a cheat snack. But not a total miss either.

The Best Balls I’ve Ever Tasted
So let me begin by saying this is my FIRST EVER Amazon review. I’ve been a prime member for probably 10 years now and I use this delivery service ALL the time yet I never felt as compelled as I do now to leave a review.... These cheese balls literally give me life. I love everything about them. Yes, they’re extremely tiny... but as far as I know, size does NOT matter in this case. These balls are literally so perfect that idk if I’ll ever eat another savory snack other than these ever again. They’re exceptionally flavorful. (You can taste both the jalapeño flavor and the cheddar cheese perfectly evenly. I know many reviews said they’re too spicy but I 100% disagree.) They’re extraordinarily crunchy. (If you love the SOFT CRUNCH of normal cheddar cheese puff balls, then these are not for you) They’re extremely small. (I love this because I can feel like I ate a lot more than I really did when I just pop one in my mouth at a time. These are probably a quarter of the size of a normal cheddar cheese puff ball, so in quantity, 1 cup of say 20 normal cheddar cheese puff balls is the same as 80 of these little balls of perfection.) I have ZERO critiques for these cheese balls... and this is a first. I will 100% be a repeat customer, & I mean it when I say you should DEFINITELY try them. You clearly don’t know what good food is if you don’t like them. P.S. They are a GREAT gluten free alternative to croutons for salad or soup. That’s how crunchy they are. They are so versatile and I truly mean it when I say I love these.

Funny
Funny after-taste, almost as if it was made at the same time as or stored near something mint - flavored? Won't get again, it's off-putting. They're also tiny, like they were supposed to be cereal. Spicy but doesn't taste like cheese at all (got the cheddar jalapeno). Cool idea, weird in practice

The flavor is great. The texture is wonderful and the heat from the jalapeno flavor is just right. My issue is that they cost way too much! Its a rip off. This company is milking the high protein, fitness market. They cost $39+ in Canada on amazon. In the US on amazon they are $29+. Let's be honest. A bottle full probably costs them under $5 to produce in bulk. A large bag of Hawkins cheezies in Canada has 90% of the weight and is under $5.00. To be fair. The honest overpriced value for a bottle is about $10 mabye $15 if you are a sucker. But $40 bux isn't worth it.

OK, so, I ordered this then read the reviews and I was sort of nervous to recieve my package cuz of the people who complained that they tasted like Styrofoam or that they didn't taste like how it said and once I opened the bottle up and had one my worries were quickly dispelled. These are crunchy (like any other normal puff thig I've eaten), very tasty, and it's going to take restraint for me to not just sit there and eat the while jar in one go. I will definitely be ordering more once I have the funds available and once I figure out how long one jar lasts me for so I can select the right sub for them. Amazing job!

If you're on Keto just eat meat, Cheese and Vegetables.... Cheaper and tastes better. These cheese balls are overpriced, dry and taste stale. If you crave chips and break your diet then too bad for you.
