Review: A must have - Exact fit. Work extremely well. Live near lots of new construction and these help filter out all the contaminants as they repeatedly open and close our water lines as they extend. Water is clear, free of odor and tastes as it should.
Review: Work great - I ordered these as 6-month replacements in my iSpring unit. I was concerned that it didn't list iSpring in the compatibility, but aren't all these filters standard? Anyway, I had no problem installing them... and a better buy than the iSpring-labeled filters with what sound like the same specs.

## Features

- Sediment Filter with Gradient Density Layer: A combination of a sparse layer, compaction layer, and precision layer ensures this SimPure premium 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter captures dirt, sand, silt, dust, rust, and scale particles effectively.
- Carbon Filter made in Premium Material: This CTO filter cartridge is made of premium coconut shell charcoal block, wrapped in a food-grade polypropylene non-woven fabric to achieve fine water filtration while avoiding carbon particles leaking into the water. Tested by an independent third party to meet NSF 42 Standards for material.
- 5 Micron Fine Filtration: Optimized to perform as both a sediment and carbon block filter, it filters out contaminants down to 5 microns, removes undesirable colors, bad tastes, the smell, and up to 99% of chlorine from municipal water and well water, significantly improving water quality for the whole house.
- Low Pressure-Drop: Compared to the 1-micron filters, the 5-micron pore size helps prevent the cartridge from clogging before its adsorption capability is exhausted, maximizing the utilization of the carbon while maintaining a lower pressure drop.
- Exceptional Filter Life: Filters up to 15,000 gallons depending on the use and feed water quality. Replace the filter every 3-6 months to achieve optimal performance. Combining the MPP and CTO filters, not only brings clear and refreshing water to every faucet in your home but also helps to prolong the lives of your appliances and protects plumbing from sediment and scale buildup.
