Review: Fits - Fits knife well
Review: Makes an unpleasant task easier - As with the proverbial cat, there's more than one way to skin a deer. Some might consider this a bit of a gimmick and I suppose that's fair enough. It certainly not required to get the job done, but I personally make sure to always have one on hand. On deer and pronghorn, it cuts what it needs to with minimal effort. The hook blade makes opening the cavity without puncturing the internal organs a cinch and the brass-knuckles type handle provides a good grip even while working with hands out of sight. It's probably fair to mention that I replace the blade for each animal to ensure that's it's sharp enough to get the job done. Also, I have found it not quite up to the task of cleaning a large, tough elk.

**Q: Will this blade fit the older model knife?**
A: Depends on what you mean by “older”, I guess. It fits mine, that I’ve had for more than 10 years.

**Q: Will this blade fit the old stainless steel handle with two screws?**
A: I have not changed the blade as of yet. I purchased it for a spare.  I do believe it will fit but like I said I have not changed mine yet.  Hope this helps.

**Q: do you have a replacement blade for a single blade knife? no skinning blade**
A: I have a WY knife it has two cutting edges.

The Wyoming blade is great. The problem I have is that the description Wyoming Tools 5 Replacement Stainless Blade leads you to believe that you are ordering 5 replacement blades when you only receive 1. No where on the Wyoming website does it list the knife as a 5. You can order direct from Wyoming the same blade for under $5.00 each. My suggestion would be to order direct from Wyoming since you can get 2 for the same price.
