This product really fixed a “hole” in my audio video system. I am what some would describe as an audiophile and am very picky about audio quality. I spent way too much money on an AV Receiver that has a well regarded reputation for audio. It probably does have better than average audio for its class, but it wasn’t as good as my two-channel audio system. So I decided to route audio and video to the AV Receiver via HDMI, but I routed audio from all my video gear to my stereo receiver. Except my Roku Ultra is unequipped with RCA ports so this is where this very cool AVI product steps in to provide the RCA ports that I need. It accepts HDMI in from the ROKU and routs HDMI out to my AV Receiver and extracts audio which I can route to my Stereo Receiver. So Voila! Now I have Great Sound from all my video components! And the extra set of speakers (Spendors!) I had to keep around just for the Roku can now be put to better use elsewhere. And I have to add great support from the company. They answered a tech question I had late on a Saturday night. Wow, how cool was that!

Works great with my old audio equipment Works much better than I expected. Most times when you add something like adapters to the mix in a 4K setup, the picture or sound will degrade some. But this AVI one is just great! The quality of picture and sound did not change at all. Very easy to install and the dip switch settings give you exactly what you need.

Good product, solved my Roku TV issue. I was trying to find a product to have the Roku digital signal go through my surrounding sound system. My sound system predates HDMI connections, so a device like this is needed to keep surround sound working with the Roku. It works great! Issue solved.

Works perfectly with Apple TV I just need it to break out the digital signal from my AppleTV so that I could broadcast Pandora to my receivers. Works very well, it does exactly what it advertised. No more expect, five stars!!!

I use it to separate audio output from my Amazon fireTV, and finally it can be in full surround with this audio extractor. No delay, works very well. It is the perfect solution for me!
