The Goetia: The Lesser Key of Solomon the King: Lemegeton - Clavicula Salomonis Regis, Book 1 Review: A very interesting piece of literature - This book I have found to be extremely hard to find physically. As one of Aleistor Crowley's most well known works, it is a little strange one can't find any copies. (and even then, I can't ever find a single book written by the guy! Granted it's not like he's necessarily critically acclaimed...) Now of course, the subject matter of the book itself and plenty of the simple sketches drawn by Crowley are not necessarily the best influence for the faint of heart, religious, or impressionable teen, that is if the book if taken seriously or worse religiously. (note the aforementioned sketches are not the ones on the cover which as far as I know are from Jacques Collin De Plancy's book The Infernal Dictionary which might I add are in this version of the Goetia for their respective demons which is a very welcome addition!) In any case, this book serves a good encyclopedia to different demons often mentioned in esoteric works and even in fiction. I personally got the book not only to add to my collection but to study the ideas and thoughts behind it. While many of the things in the book can be seen as repulsive, I find that it is fascinating, especially with historical context behind the esoteric, Thelema, and Aleistor Crowley's life itself. He was certainly a deranged man for most of his life, much of which wasn't necessarily his fault in my opinion, and he certainly wasn't the most wicked man in the world. Or even of that century.(1900s) That goes to Hitler, Stalin, Mao, or someone! In any case it is a fascinating read, with much history behind it. I recommend it to anyone who wishes to study it or incorporate ideas and demons into works of fiction as I do. Review: Great book - Demons and devils... Oh My. Same ole, same ole info. Well put together.

This is an amazing book, and a very good value for the price imo. Tons of illustrations tons of various translations & commentary. All in all a great intro to Goetic demonology.

Take a book, cut it into pieces, and then sell those pieces separately - Welcome to the Goetia!
A very limited scope with some very difficult references in the foreword. This is not a terminal book in one bit and is actually quite scant on its breadth on the subject matter. Considering the amount you're paying for this book, you can get the exact same information off the internet. However, if having a paper copy in your hands is helpful (as I've found it to be) then this is certainly a good purchase in that respect.

The Goetia, fully illustrated.
If you are looking at this, you(should)already know what it is. I cannot make comment on this tome. Love is the Law, Love under Will.93

Excelente entrelaçamento de tradução e notas e correções e acréscimos: torna a obra, senão completa, bastante abrangente e detalhada. Muito bem organizado e ilustrado.

I like this book with its illustrations which aid in rituals....theres a good bit of info in here for those with interest. I often now refer to this book for extra info perhaps not given by another book..when I want an illustration of a particular demon (not all are illustrated, but a good few are)- a good book to have in ones Magickal collection

There's nothing like having the tools to summon the most deadliest beings known to mankind. You're going to want to tread lightly with this one. It's not for a novice, a dabbler, and you could end up completely destroying yourself and your life with it if you don't know what you're doing. That's just the truth. For those who know what they're doing, it is an absolutely valuable tool. If you're a Novice or a Dabbler, go read something by Silver Ravenwolf, Scott Cunningham, or Konstontinos. You can do some real damage to yourself, your life, and what happens in the here-after for you.

So happy to receive this book so quickly! Always interested in spirits! A little different from what I think, but still good!

I already own this book in another version, and I really only wanted this one as it includes the amusing demon illustrations by Jacques Collin de Plancy. Unfortunately, the illustrations are printed so dark as to be difficult to make out. The book is good content-wise, however this edition of it seems cheaply done. I doubt it’s worth the price I paid and I recommend buying it only if it’s discounted.
