An excellent addition to the Mega paint set.
Previously I was 95% a Citadel paints user, but I've now swapped to 95% Army Painter. I have this set and the Mega paint set. Luckily this set only overlaps about 1-2 paints with the Mega set and expands many of the colour triads with that set. The fanatic paint have a lovely consistency and can be airbrushed with a little thinning I use airbrush medium and brush painted. The paints have excellent coverage. Overall no complaints and are cheaper than the citadel paints I used before.

Great selection of acrylic paints for miniature painting. Ideal for the hobbyist who wants to take a step up from the starter set but isn't ready to splash out on the Mega set.

Great paints, BUT this particular item has created some frustrations. The included mini in this box is in a plastic ziplock bag, and then put in one of the plastic boxes containing the bottles of paint. It is stuffed in there. The mini's protruding axe must be brittle or fragile, or the mini is packed too tightly against the bottles, because BOTH times that I received this package, one after returning the other, the mini included in each package was broken. This is unfortunate. I don't want to return the second package, though. I just want to paint...
