This worked exactly the way I hoped it would. The seal around the leg is secure, it keeps water out very well, and it’s much easier to use than trying to improvise with plastic bags and tape. The material feels durable, the opening stretches enough to get it on without being a nightmare, and once it’s in place it stays put. Most importantly, it actually does its job and keeps the covered area dry during a shower. This is one of those products you hope you don’t need, but if you do, it makes life significantly easier. Very impressed with how well it works and would absolutely recommend it.

Great for recent foot surgery! Easybto insert leg and keeps leg dry. Not slippery in shower. Easy to wipe clean. Would definitely recommend.

It's served it purpose. My husband had ankle surgery and the entryway was a big tight but its good because it keep water out. I do recommend this buy for someone that has had ankle surgery.

I am pleasantly surprised that this product works just as described! I was skeptical, but it's great. Not too tight, but a snug enough compression to keep water out while showering. Easy to put on, remove and clean. Good job Comfythera!

I've been using the COMFYTHERA Waterproof Cast Cover for Shower Ankle Wound Protector for over two weeks now, and overall, I'm happy with it. It does what it's supposed to do for the most part, but I don't think it's realistic to expect any cast cover to be 100% waterproof. My recommendation is to put a plastic grocery bag over your foot before using the cover. Since I started doing that, I've had no issues with my foot getting wet. The very top of my dressing might get a little damp occasionally, but the wound area and my foot have stayed dry. It's comfortable, easy to put on, and has made showering much less stressful while recovering. As long as you use a little extra precaution with a plastic bag, I think it's a solid product and definitely worth buying.

I had surgery on my foot about two weeks ago, and I am strictly prohibited from putting any weight on my right foot. Even though it’s not a cast, I still have to wear a heavily wrapped in bandages covered with that Velcro boot for the next four weeks. I ordered this cast cover, hoping it would do the job. I was right. It will stretch far enough to go over my boot needed. Because I was using a shower chair, I was able to pull the cast cover over the bandage part of my foot without the Boot. I wasn’t able to easily use my shower chair and prop my foot up on a bench inside the shower. No water got between the seal of the boot in my leg. I think this is a great item and is a fabulous alternative to trying to rig something up with plastic bags and tape.

The seal stays snug around my foot, so I can shower without worrying about getting the dressing wet. It’s comfortable to wear, easy to put on and take off, and gives me peace of mind during recovery. I expect to have various foot injuries going forward so I have not used this yet, I may have opted for a lower profile more like a big sock then one for a cast. also, I looked for a more substantial seal, this should get the job done.

Heute angekommen nach einem Tag. Gleich ausprobiert und kann sagen es war absolut dicht. Reichte sogar bis über meine Wunde am Knie. Es sitzt stramm , aber denke so muss es sein. Über die Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen

I bought a pair of the foot cover as I was having surgery on both big toes. I love having a daily bath and was not looking forward to a couple of months recovery period where I could only shower with caution. My fears were quickly allayed. The first day I had a brief shower but trying not to get my legs too wet. Everything was fine so the second day I took longer in the shower with the same good protection. Then I tried having a bath and gradually put more water in each day. Now, nearly three weeks in and I can have a long bath in the knowledge that my dressings will remain dry. As a tip I would say put a fair amount of water in before entering the bath to just below the height of the tight band at the top. The foot cover will expand under the pressure of the water so I lift the band out briefly to let some air out, otherwise my feet will be floating to the top. They do feel tight around the shin area but not unbearably so. When I get out of the bath I dry the covers with a towel before taking them off and then hang them up to dry.

What an amazing boot. Was iffy at first especially in the shower but when my bandage came out completely dry I was like, why didnt someone tell be about this sooner. So I tried something I went in my pool with it. And darn it works like a charm. My foot is always completely dry. Tip. If you go in the pool with it, try to take some air out of the boot first cause your foot will want to float to the top. I highly recommend this boot for anyone with a cast or a bandaged foot.
