I never know what I’m going to get with gluten-free + vegan baking mixes online 😅 but THIS apple crumble cake mix is officially my new obsession. I’ve already reordered it twice because it’s just THAT good.First off… this recipe is stupid easy. Like under 5 minutes to mix together easy. You’ll need:* 1/4 cup butter (+ 2 tbsp for the crumble topping)* 1/3 cup milk* 2 eggsI used “melted brand” vegan butter + “MALK brand”coconut milk with regular eggs and it turned out insanely moist. Seriously… the vegan substitutes made absolutely zero difference in texture or flavor. If you’re swapping the eggs too, I’d definitely recommend a solid egg replacer over applesauce.Now my BIGGEST tip: this cake is HARD to overbake, but pull it out the SECOND the center stops jiggling and a toothpick comes out clean. Don’t wait any longer. Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes too, otherwise it won’t fully set up correctly.Mine baked in about 25–30 minutes at 350° in a convection oven using a greased + lined 8-inch round cake pan. Came out perfectly.Flavor-wise? Honestly SO well balanced. The dehydrated apples cooked up beautifully — no weird chewy or raw apple bits — and the cinnamon level was perfect. Cozy without punching you in the face 😂I made this for Sunday breakfast and it didn’t even survive until lunch. I literally caught my dad (who acts personally offended by gluten-free food existing) going back for a second slice. That’s when you KNOW a recipe is a winner. 😭Absolutely keeping this mix stocked in my pantry from now on.

This is the absolute best GF cake I've ever tasted!!! It's hard to believe that it's a mix. I've made almond flour cakes before and they were not as lovely as this one. Honestly, I had low expectations for this mix and I was simply stunned.With so many dietary restrictions, it's sometimes exhausting reading ingredients info on new products that I discover, and so many times when I thought I found a good one, only to spot palm oil or some endocrine disruptor on the list. This moist, flavorful beautiful cake is truly an amazing quality find.BEcause I didn't know that it was going to be an amazing cake, I did add some sliced almonds on top of the streusel topping for a bit of crunch and I also added a good bit of cinnamon to the streusel topping. I totally did not need to do that. I'm looking forward to trying the apple crumble cake very soon.It's taking everything in me to resist inhaling the whole cake at once. :(

Thought I'd give this mix a try. Very tasty grain free/gluten free mix! All natural which is good. Added a little more of my own ceylon cinnamon. I also used grass fed butter, organic almond milk & pasture raised eggs. Baked up well. Very simple ingredients so nothing special that you can't purchase yourself individually if you want to save money. 4 stars for the high price & non organic

Tasty coffee cake! Not too sweet and it’s moist. If you’re used to a traditional coffee cake, this might not be sweet enough. Bought because of the clean ingredients. Given its high price point, I wouldn’t buy regularly, but a great option when you have a sweet craving and looking for clean ingredients.

This is a hard pass for me when I’m used to using another brand. I did substitute applesauce for the oil and the outcome was disappointing.

Tastes identical to coffee cake but much lighter and more airy, feels like a cloud when you are eating it and it tastes delicious. A yummy gluten free treat for those who can't tolerate it.

The taste was like cardboard
