**Q: does this button have the re-designed battery access, the original was a nightmare to open**
A: Unfortunately, this still has the original battery access.

**Q: does bell interfere with garage door remote ???**
A: I have not had any issues with the door bell interfering with the garage door remote.

**Q: Can the mounting plate be purchased separately?  Mine broke :(**
