Makes Perfect Crepes Every Time – Easy and Quick!
I’ve been using this Proctor Silex Electric Crepe Maker for the first time, and it works exactly as I hoped. The non-stick surface makes flipping crepes super easy, and the temperature control is simple to use. I was able to make breakfast for my family in under 10 minutes without any sticking or burning. Cleaning is quick since the surface wipes clean easily. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone who loves homemade crepes! Great quality.

Best crepe maker on the planet
I love this crepe maker more than words! It heats up quickly ( a few minutes), so I can plug it in and let it warm up while mixing the crepes and in under 10 minutes can have a batch already cooked. It cooks evenly over the entire surface and is big, so I can cook Multiple things on it when not making crepes. I have owned another crepe maker previously ( still do), that Is hand held and you dunk the cooking surface Into a tray and it sticks to it so they come out appropriately thin. I always have a hard time getting them to come off nicely and end up making a mess. This particular one ( that I am reviewing) is so much easier. I just put the batter on and spread it with the spreader. The long stick thing makes it easy to turn them over and then remove them, and they come out perfect every time. I purchased this even though I already had something to use because some friends and I had been going out for crepes a lot and was getting expensive, so wanted a more commercial size to play recipe’s with. I have had it for a few months now, and use it almost daily, and it is perfect. I could not have done better. It was the least expensive one of this size I could find. The quality and easy of use has been amazing

Great quality and heats up evenly l!
I have to say, using this crepe maker has been a delight. It has truly elevated my crepe-making game and brought a touch of culinary magic to my kitchen. The 13" nonstick griddle is a standout feature for me. It heats up in no time and distributes the heat evenly across the surface, resulting in perfectly cooked crepes every single time. No more worrying about hotspots or undercooked spots! But the real star of the show is the nonstick surface. It's like magic! I can effortlessly flip and remove the crepes without any sticky situations. No more torn crepes or struggling to pry them off the griddle. It's a smooth, hassle-free experience from start to finish. It feels solid and well-made, built to withstand the demands of regular use. I appreciate the thoughtful design of the controls, which are intuitive and easy to use.

Fits into my kitchen
I wasn't sure that I would be able to just leave this on the kitchen counter. I thought I might have to stow it, and that would mean I would probably use it less. I cleared out all of the little knickknacks that were accumulating in the corner of the counter, and the crepe maker fits well in their place. When not in use, I covered it a 13" woven place-mat ($3.00), and put a paper towel holder on top of it. I've only used it twice, so I can't comment on its durability. Generally, I am hopeless at making crepes, but I made buckwheat crepes with this crepe maker, and that worked out well. I'm still learning how to spread the batter correctly. So far, the crepes I've made seem to be cooking a little more slowly in the middle -- but that is probably because I'm not spreading the batter evenly, and mine have been thinner on the edges. I put the thermostat on a little lower than 4, and used the lights to help me know when to flip the crepes. It's like a hot plate, so I guess you could cook a lot of different things on it. It has a tiny edge to it to keep the crepe batter from going over the side. It's 13" in diameter, so you can make a large or a small crepe on it. I also used the crepe maker to cook some sliced apples for the crepes. I'm not sure if I'm going to cook onions or garlic on it, lest the flavors linger and make it impossible to make sweet crepes -- but I think that onions or garlic would probably be OK. It is easy to clean. The directions say to wash it with soap then wipe it with a wet towel, but I didn't want to risk getting soap or soap-flavor into my food. I've just used a wet paper towel and wiped it down until the paper towel no longer wipes off residue. It is VERY non-stick. You don't need to use a lot of oil or butter to grease the pan. The design seems to be pretty good. If you are careful, the crepe maker can be moved even while it's hot. Just remember to unplug it. You can turn the heat way down, but you have to unplug it to make it turn completely off.

Great!
I purchased this for my mom. She wanted to have some ladies over for a crepe luncheon and she wanted a crepe maker. She really likes this and it was easy to use. It’s big so you can make crepes of many sizes and it comes with the tools you need for making crepes. I only gave 4 stars because it doesn’t have an on/off switch so it starts warming up as soon as you plug it in. That’s not necessarily a big problem, but it is inconvenient if you want to make crepes as people want them. So it was plugged in and unplugged many times that day. I know my mom will use this a lot and she loves it, so that’s what matters.

Perfect crêpe machine
Perfect results, lightweight, simple to use and a breeze to clean. Have only used the spatula (have a spreader) and it’s perfect too. I make crêpes every week, and bought this for an upcoming school event. After testing it out at home, I have adopted this instead of my pan. Love the large size which gives you options. Tip: crêpes need to bake on a hot surface. I set the Proctor Silex machine to 7 and wait until the light indicator turns green. Also, crêpes love butter, so even though this is a non-stick so you can eschew the fat, if you want a genuine and delicious crêpe, just spread a bit of butter on the hot pan right before pouring the batter for that beautiful look and scrumptious taste. Bon appétit!

I really like it. It’s a great price and nice appliance
First off, I paid full price for this item. I bought it and had to wait for it to come available. I really like it. It’s a great price and nice appliance. This is my second crepe machine. It makes great crepes that are quite large. The machine is big and taller then my other machine, so it will take up some storage space. But worth it. I like the easy to use variable heat setting. I find that 4/5 is the best setting for me to spread the crepes before the thin batter starts to set. I will turn the heat up after at times in speed up cook time or get a darker crepe. I really like the tools it came with. I prefer the plastic crepe spreader over my wood one. The booklet comes with some recipes, but I have my favorites. I can see myself making other types of Ethnic crepes, flat breads and tortillas. Or thin omelettes to fill. Even pancakes. Overall a great product.
