Very good inexpensive, easy to carry
The size will make it very easy for most to carry. The AA battery type makes it easy to keep it running. Finally a version with mode memory! The previous versions always started in low! The light levels offer a pretty good spread. It has mode memory! (stays in the last mode used when you turn it on again) Still AA battery Still small size that will fit in a jeans coin/watch pocket Now has a magnetic tail (but sadly, no momentary on) This is one of the best AA lights you can buy at any price point. If you want a back up light, or know someone that really should (but won't) carry a light, this is an excellent option. If you don't want to carry it all the time, throw a lithium battery in it. Then, just throw it on the glove box or back pack; and, it will be there when you need it.

Nice basic light
I didn't like it at first. The tail switch feels sort of cheap. But, I ended up carrying it every day for the last few months and today I'm ordering another one so I have a spare. That's the highest praise I can give it. I misplaced it last week and even though I have more than a dozen similarly sized lights to choose from, I was bummed out thinking it was gone forever. The trend among flashlight manufacturers is getting away from 1.5v AA and AAA and providing a charging port and a Li-On battery. I don't want a charging port on my shirt pocket flashlight. I do use rechargeable Li-On and NiMh batteries, but I don't want charging ports on everything. I own quality batteries and use quality chargers. I'm not trusting whatever cheap Li-On batt and integrated cheap charge controller any Chinese manufacturer can stuff in to a tiny tube. Li-On isn't all that safe to begin with. I like this light because it uses a regular old AA battery. I've long since abandoned Alkaline batteries because they leak and destroy whatever device they leaked in, but this light is perfectly happy running Eneloop Pro rechargeable NiMh batteries. And, if I ever do happen to run the battery dead and not have a spare handy, I can always pop in a regular old AA Alkaline for the day and regular old AA alkalines are available everywhere. I sort of wish it had moonlight mode, but that would just add complexity to the interface, I suppose. 3 brightness settings spaced nicely apart at 5, 30, and a really bright 200 lumens is very functional. I mostly leave it on medium - 30 lumens. That's plenty of light to navigate my house in the middle of the night or safely traverse my workplace when the power goes out.

Best EDC flashlight I own
Let me start by saying that I think this is my new "go to" flashlight. I probably own over 30 flashlights. I am a fan of lights that are good everyday carry (EDC) and are 900 lumens or less. For me, about 150 to 300 lumens is the best, considering battery life and size. I really the tail switch feel on this unit. It also has a good magnet in the tail switch. size and feel of the unit is perfect. It is very easy to operate and it remembers the last mode you were in. The high light setting of 200 lumens is all the light you would ever need for most tasks. I like the lumitop AA but I don't like the feel of the switch feel on it as well as this light. The only minor thing I don't like, it that the light has a very slight green tint to it. The reputation of fenix for durability is very good. It would be nice if the price was a few dollars less, but for a very good quality light, I am willing to pay a little more. Overall, I think it is the best EDC light available.

Top shelf light
I carry mine everyday and its about as perfect as it gets for me. 3 brightness levels, not too big for your pocket or purse, and the two way clip is great for the bill of your hat for hands free lighting

Worthy of edc
I use this on bar shifts to spot bottles in a poorly lit corner, itโs bright af and the throw is very decent for its diminutive size. Iโve dropped it countless times on concrete with no apparent damage besides a scratch or two.

Perfect EDC pocket light
I definitely to upgrade from the original version 1 light because it is even smaller, puts out more light and lasts longer. I keep this iny pocket and use it most days at least once and several times a day quite often. I was using it to do work on my daughter's car and used the magnetic tail cap to stick it to the the side of the main bolt on the fan belt pulley to illuminate my the part I was working on. She was so impressed she stole it and I had to buy a second one. She was fascinated with it's high performance and that it just disappeared when clipped into her pocket. She's a petite teenage girl. I recognize that everyone carries this light in their packet. It's to easy to not do it.

My new EDC light.
For size itโs great. Battery life is really long. Itโs durable. The 3 light modes are easy to switch through and gives more than ample light.

Amazing flash light
This light works quite well. I like how in the package it comes with everything you need to get started and the battery case is nice. The magnetic on this light is a lot stronger than I thought. No need to worry about the light falling down while you are working. The company is amazing to work with and I am glad I chose this light.
